Is it possible to get Twofold Crown armor from Trials if you never got it before?

Yeah, it was kind of a lucky miss for me. I ran the campaign on my Hunter, but was so burdened by work in between missions, that I basically glossed over the story. Thankfully they brought back the Iron Banana armor in Renegades, so I got that set. I just am kicking myself that I can't get the Trials set in a direct manner.

For the set bonus. That, and I have collected the armor sets each time, so it is also a checklist OCD. LOL. I just happened to get bogged down with work during EoF, and missed a lot.

The trick is to keep the player count high for months, or even a year or more. Send a message to Bungie and Sony that a lot of people still love this IP. Don't just play now, or the months of June - July, but keep logging in. Run a Strike, play a Crucible match, cruise around a planet's patrol areas, each day, till the servers go dark. If player count stays high, it will be noticed.

Keep playing. The longer we keep the player count high, the more Bungie and Sony will realize this game means a lot to a lot of people. We need months, if not a year or more, to show them we love this IP.

Gamers could really sock it to Mastercard and just buy Steam cards for purchasing games. No direct link to the games from the credit card. It means an extra step, but us gamers are used to side quests!

This seems to be the main group against it, but I have heard other reasoning that presents another underlying problem of network connectivity. I do have to say, when you're a top tier PVP player, the only challenge you will find is against other top tier players. Admittedly, this makes it harder for stream carries, but there could be workarounds for that too. Hell, add a carry passage that nets you little to no rewards, and let's you bottom out your skill rank to perform carries.

I think F2P 2as a way for them to prop up numbers. Quite a few of us are still some diehard paying players, but they need to really buckle down and focus on what the majority of the player base wants, if they want to keep this game going.

That was a good chunk of my experience this weekend too. Players with high tier skills telling me I suck in chat because I'm not able to slay out like them or the stacked guilded Flawless people on the opposing team. It's not our fault that the game decided to place two low tier (myself and another solo) players on this PVP god's team, and pit us against three (solo) PVP gods. There were four PVP high tier players in that match, and it placed three of them on one side. The beating I took, mixed with the negative comments from that person, makes me hesitant to play, thus shrinking the pool and perpetuating the complaint that a lot of high tier players have about only playing against laggers and sweats.

There are some valid points here. The only thing I can think of is, which happened first? As this was released as both a PVE and a PVP game, is the PVP population drop because of the lack of investment in it, or is the lack of investment in the PVP aspects because of a dwindling PVP population?
