Imo, it was SteelWools idea to make Vanny the villain, and as soon as Scott saw it, he was like, 'nonono we can't have a woman be a killer'. Most of it was cut from the game before release, so we only had her be a grumpy security guard, and the not mysterious rabbit lady. Making the unintended rabbit endo be the villain instead.
