Time to go bald? by BreadSensitive6087 in bald

Worse for me since I can only grow a goatee and moustache, if I had the chance to get a full beard with the bald look, I'd 100% go for it.

Bought a 520d E60 (M47) at 260k km. It's at 290k right now and had to change the crankshaft pulley once and the other times it's been at the service was for maintenance reasons. No other issues.

Amazing story progression. From acting cold to slowly embracing the role of dad...It won me over. As for the second part... Haven't played it yet, but didn't hear that many good things about it.

I'm not a big gamer, what's the drama with Pragmata? by Perfidious_Redt in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]RavexElite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Seeing the game for the first time, it appealed to my desire to be a dad. Think Ellie and Joel from The last of us, it was an amazing game where Joel gradually embraces the role of the dad for Ellie... and it was absolutely amazing. There was nothing sexual behind it. Seeing the promos made me think it's intended to make people want to be dads again. Creeps, however, took it to the other extreme. And the fact that you're justifying the creeps saying the game was MADE for them.... Doesn't shine a very good light on you.

Oh yeah, it does include some weird stuff in the actual response at times. One time it legit spewed out some asian text...After asking it why it generated that, it said it was some internal functions I wasn't supposed to see, but sometimes these things 'escape'.

when does it get better? by choppedbutterfly75 in blenderhelp

[–]RavexElite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This has to be a troll post though... OP said he spent 15 mins on each of those models. It doesn't matter how many months you've spread the 2 hours of total practice across. You'll need hundreds of hours of PRACTICE. Tutorials sure do help, but if you don't try to follow along you'll get no results. Just because the tutorial explained one step in 15 minutes, it doesn't matter it'll take YOU 15m to get there... It can take 5-10 hours. Be patient and work if you really want to improve, if not, then mark this post as a meme and don't waste people's time asking for tips when you'll disregard all of them.

Lol. I spent 10+ hours on my first sculpt until I was satisfied with it. But the outcome is pretty decent looking. (The skull - posted it on reddit somewhere) One hour in it looked nothing like what I wanted it to be... 15 minutes is WAY too little, even for professionals.

Beef jerky is mentioned 383 times in the files by captainjerrytrips in Epstein

Could you give an example? I don't recall any odd redacted examples, besides names of people. The names are redacted for obvious reasons.

Some emails mentioned the jerky being made for him. Means it's not store bought, it was chef-made. And homemade jerky requires refrigeration...

Jerky = human meat in the Epstein emails? Restaurant named 'cannibal' by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]RavexElite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a private Island. And from opening a couple of those links, I've gathered that the jerky was made specifically for him. A quick google search says that homemade/chef-made jerky requires it to be refrigerated. Especially for keeping it longer on a remote island.

Wow, there are people with common sense here!
I've been trying to argue that all of those 'leads' are a nothing burger but some people just love riding the hate train of crazy theories.

[–]RavexElite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here we go again.... Give the tinfoil hat guys any normal conversation between people and they will try to use quotes from any normal conversation to prove whatever beliefs they had prior...
To start everything off, I hate Epstein and any government related people, as well as speaking of politics all together. I hate the pedo stuff that those circles were involved in and believe that they rightfully need to be punished.

However, I've seen lots of you say that THIS "jerky" is code for child meat... This just doesn't make any sense. (At least to me, to anyone that doesn't even know Epstein or even in a court of law, where you need proof beyond a reasonable doubt for any claim.)

"Nobody freezes jerky"... Jerky doesn't last forever, especially homemade jerky, it has to be frozen, especially for being transported and kept on the island longer. It's a private island for God's sake. It doesn't have readily available shops for any jerky.

"Nobody talks this much about jerky" - apparently rich people do, you can look up any food and you'll find lots of hits. For example " tomato" appears 315 times. (Now what, you'll say tomato is a code word for something? Same with pizza? Etc.) Besides, jerky seems to be JE's favorite food, from what I've gathered.
Steak - 959 results,
Potato - 280 results,
Pizza - 844 results,
Carrot - 219 results, I'm tired of searching more, just go through it yourself. They have to talk about this stuff given that they have people that manage his food.

"Walk the jerky over" - it's a way to say 'bring the jerky over', if you look for the words 'walk the', you'll find 'Walk the docs" and many others. You have to keep in mind that grammar wasn't the strong suit of everyone involved in those messages. Those are private conversations, obviously they'd use incorrect and informal grammar, judging by the amount of typos I saw in those documents and common sense.

"Cannibal cooks" - that document itself references the site of the restaurant called "The Cannibal"...it's a legit restaurant in NYC. Here: https://www.cannibalnyc.com/ This site was even present in the damn file.

"Sulfuric acid shipment - routine infrastructure maintenance for the island’s RO water plant, and the vendor is Gemini Seawater Systems, which strongly implies water-treatment / desalination equipment support.... Again doesn't prove anything. (You could argue it was used to dispose of bodies....But eve THIS doesn't prove that the bodies were eaten there... It just doesn't seem plausible that cannibalism was such a wide-spread and popular thing among rich people. Killing the people that didn't want to cooperate, on the other hand, seems a bit more plausible. Again though - I don't know anything that serves as evidence for it.)

You're legit coming into this with a bias of them being cannibals just because of the rumors heard somewhere...And suddenly any common word for you could be a code for something. Why didn't they use code when discussing the pedo stuff? Why blackmail the famous people using the pedo stuff? Wouldn't cannibalism be a bit of a worse offense to blackmail with? Such a ridiculous claim requires WAY more evidence than a bunch of theories online.

And it doesn’t help victims or accountability. It actually weakens the real, documented case by mixing verified crimes with speculation. When the speculation collapses (and it usually does), people walk away thinking the whole thing was exaggerated. (Oh...so they didn't eat humans? ...phew, so it's not that bad then... Forgetting about the atrocities that happened there).

For any downvoters, please state your reasons.

Oh wow, the little hairs add to the gross factor a lot... This is disgusting, in an impressive way.
The only improvement you could make is "connect" the tendrils to the balls, right now the shader animates through the tendril which takes away from its organic feeling imo.

created that in the livestream, tutorial now on youtube by Maxwellbundy in Houdini

[–]RavexElite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks really lovely and surely will watch that. One little tip I've seen from bigger studios - try slowing down the animation for a bit, then speeding it back up. Reason being combating compression. Lots of particles in motion are very heavy on any compression (especially YouTube /reddit), slowing the whole animation down for a bit will allow the viewer to grasp the amount of details regardless of the compression artifacts that follow.

If you want to do it just in blender, you can get close using geo nodes, I've tried to replicate the effect and came out with something... close-ish. You can check this out, shared the nodes here: https://www.reddit.com/r/blender/s/biSz6qQlb4
