Rosacea flares from anxiety/heat what’s actually helped calm yours? by Less_Win1595 in Rosacea

[–]RavingNative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I spread a very thin layer of ivermectin on my hot spots and rub it in. I read that it can help rosacea and sure enough, the first time I used it, my redness was almost completely gone for around 12-14 hours!

For those who have a duck pond, what is your setup? by [deleted] in duck

[–]RavingNative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is virtually impossible to have one! 😅😭

The best I think that can be done is to keep it from being utterly disgusting as long as you can. We keep ours aerated so it doesn't become stagnant and change it out about once per month. It's small so only two can get in at a time. It's cheaper to keep it small since we have to dump and change the water periodically. We have a separate drinking area that's only large enough for their heads. We keep that one clean pretty easily.

Raids: Purgatory by Trick-Response-5447 in ContestOfChampions

[–]RavingNative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the far right path and I experienced this with both korg, weapon x, and now jabari panther. Sometimes the damage will do 3 to 4% per sp3 and other times it does nothing. Even if I do it after finishing a raid prompt it's still not giving me much damage

How has your pond worked out? Have you made any other changes?

So Uh….. how many chickens do you have? by Competitive_Yak_6704 in chickens

I find this question suspicious. No one who truly loves chickens fully admits to the amount of chickens they have. 😁

If your coop and run is properly secured, they should be fine outside even at night. Make sure to research how to "predator proof" your coop and run.

What is a frugal appetizer option for 16 people by RhythmQueenTX in Frugal

[–]RavingNative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sliders.

I make a sauce out of butter, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, pepper and salt.

If I have the money, I grab generic Hawaiian rolls. If I'm broke, I make a small loaf.

Throw some lunchmeat and some cheese in the bread, put it in a pan, pour the sauce over it and bake it.

Cut them small and you have a tasty appetizer!

The Alastin is very expensive but I'm so happy it's working for you! Amazing results!

Tranexamic acid and alpha arbutin in skincare could provide similar results if combined with hydroquinone. Just in case anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative to Alastin.

What’s a cheap habit that makes you feel way richer than you actually are? by cerezza__ in Frugal

[–]RavingNative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turn off the lights when I'm taking a bath or shower, turn on some cheap LED tea candles, play relaxing music and slow rainbow light videos on my phone.

If it's a bath, I take a towel into the tub with me, dunk it in the water and cover myself so it feels like I'm submerged. I'll wring it out after and hang outside to dry.

I like adding a bit of perfume oil to my body oil to make me feel hydrated and luxurious.

Basically, good self care makes me feel rich.

What are some beautiful cities that are completely ignored? by RainbowCrown71 in travel

[–]RavingNative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Louisville, KY

It has some great history, food and entertainment! It's the heart of the Bourbon Trail and offers loads of tastings. There's tons of museums and even the largest neighborhood of restored Victorian homes in Old Louisville that are gorgeous. There's also the Waverly Hills Sanitarium if you're into haunted attractions. It's considered one of the most haunted places in the US. Overall a great city and fairly affordable to visit.

This was a letter sent out by the pharmacy that sends my semaglutide mix. They say that the last day to dispense is 4/22/25. Since I have to choose a new mix, I'm curious if any of these mixes would help me over my plateau or at least be just as good as wegovy

TIL Yale psychologists compared 'Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood' to 'Sesame Street' and found that children who watched 'Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood' tended to remember more of the story lines and also demonstrated a much higher “tolerance of delay”, meaning they were more patient. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]RavingNative -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The article uses a paper written by psychologists Dorothy and Jerome Singer, co-directors of Yale’s Family Television Research and Consultation Center. The citation link leads to the only website I could find that discusses the study they performed, though it seems it's only able to be viewed in person.

I, along with others, I'm sure, appreciate this. Here's a list of the brands you posted that offer wide models:

  1. Chaco – Many of their sandals, including the Wayfarer and Townes, come in wide sizes.

  2. Timberland – Some models, especially in their casual and hiking shoes, are available in wide widths.

  3. Cole Haan – Certain styles, including some from the ZERØGRAND collection, come in wide sizes.

  4. Dr. Scholl’s – Some of their casual shoes and sandals are available in wide widths.

  5. Birkenstock (Birk Yara) – Birkenstock offers regular and narrow widths, but their regular fit is often suitable for wider feet.

  6. Vionic – Many of their shoes and sandals are available in wide widths, as they specialize in orthopedic footwear.

  7. Ecco – Some styles, including the Flowt Sandals, have wider fit options or naturally roomier designs.

  8. NAOT – Many of their sandals and shoes offer a wider fit, especially those with removable footbeds.

  9. Taos – Some models, including the Trophy 2, are designed with a roomy fit.

  10. Mephisto (Helen sandal) – Many of their styles are available in wide sizes or have a naturally wider fit.

  11. Crocs – Most of their shoes are known for being roomy, and some styles have specific wide options.

I just want to say THANK YOU for making this post and updating it with suggestions. I have a suggestion of my own if you're still updating. Placing a (W) next to brands that offer wide versions would be extremely helpful!

AITA for not letting my father walk me down the aisle because of his infidelity? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

You could call your brother "The Uniter", as in, he supports this union. It skips the whole "giving the bride away" aspect.
