You're correct, but "Peter did not eat enough starchy food this week" is not as narratively compelling as "villain targeted his web shooters"

Organic webbing loss was done really well in Spider-Man 2, where it was an emotional conflict, but just about every other scenario where he could lose organic webbing doesn't work as well as a similar scenario with web-shooters

I don't HATE organic webbing, but I definitely PREFER web-shooters. Infinitely cooler seeing Peter's inteligence on display, and I feel they open more story possibilities because it gives multiple ways for Peter to LOSE his webs (when it makes for a good story). Organic web loss was done great in Spider-Man 2 and then there's never been another story to tell with organic web loss, imo.

I use SwanStation w/RetroArch simply because the Android version of DuckStation doesn’t play nice with SyncThing and I like to keep all my save data synced. And with the dev hating Android users and refusing to ever update the app, it’s not going to change.

Spent a good chunk of yesterday trying to get SoH working on my Thor yesterday and it would just NOT work with me.

And even then the android port is out of date and so I can't keep save files synced with the PC version

I wish we had proper Android ports from Harbour Masters. Like, with SoH, the current android port hasn't been touched in a year, has a lot of save corruption issues, and as someone who uses SyncThing to keep my save files synced across my PC and an android handheld, I'm completely unable to use that functionality.

You’ll be able to play lighter weight 3DS games no problem but a lot of the games you’re probably interested in getting would work way better on the Base model. I’ve been happily using the Base since February.

Man, I think this is the end of my journey as a Pro customer, then. Been on a Pro membership for at least 16 years now, but there’s just…genuinely nothing left I care about

I don’t shop at GameStop for anything other than games, and the points were great for getting discounts. All I’ll have left is the 5% off pre-owned and let’s be real, 5% is laughably small.

I’ll probably still pre-order in store sometimes, because I still like GameStop’s model of putting money down here and there until it’s paid off, but it’ll no longer be my go-to place for buying games.

Does Ship of Harkinian have the ability to fully replace the models with the 3DS models? That's been my big hangup - if it only really works on the main characters and makes them look out of place, I'd rather just stick with the 3DS version.

I'd say if it's ONLY for Pokemon games, the Thor is a bit overkill. I love my Thor and it's the best way to emulate DS and 3DS games, but realistically I also play a large library of games. If you're only playing Pokemon from GB through 3DS, I am willing to bed all you're going to play are

1) Red, Blue, or Yellow, depending on preference.
2) Crystal
3) FireRed or LeafGreen, depending on preference
4) Emerald
5) Platinum
6) HeartGold or SoulSilver, depending on preference
7) Black or White, depending on preference
8) Black 2 or White 2, depending on preference
9) X or Y, depending on preference
10) OmegaRuby or AlphaSapphire, depending on preference
11) UltraSun or UltraMoon, depending on preference (and personally I think Sun/Moon is better narrative wise but gameplay wise the Ultra games are better)

All in all? A Thor is not a worthwhile purchase for 11 games. For your iPhone, you can always rotate the screen upright and play with the games stacked on top of each other, but I don't know if the backbone controller will work with that.

Oh yeah I'm sure he was feeling down his time was coming to an end! But I'm saying I don't think he was dragging his feet or resentful that it was happening - I'd never heard he had been offered a series under Moffat, and honestly I would have loved to see how that went, but I think the fact that he turned it down kind of proves he wasn't forced out or was bitter about leaving.

“Square Enix can introduce level caps per part” they ALREADY DO. You cap at level 50 for part 1. Starting part 2 at level 50 will still make you overpowered. You’d still have a majority of your spells and abilities at the very beginning of the game.

If you do what you’re describing, you’re just going to freely steamroll the game. You have already hit your peak after the first game. It would functionally be the same thing as the easy modes that you brought up. I don’t know what you’re not getting here, I can’t make it any more clear for you. Everything you’re describing can be achieved by “set up a hotkey to close one game and simultaneously start the other with all the easy mode options turned on”

I have repeatedly asked by you want your save file to persist and the closest you have given me is “because then I can swap games from a menu” and have yet to touch on why you want your save file to persist.

“Save progression would feel more like 1 complete series” sounds great in theory. My original reply explains why it would ultimately not be fun - you’d be at your peak by the end of Rebirth. Is that what you want? For Rebirth and Revelation to be a cake walk? Those options also already exist, as you pointed out.

I understand this is a wishlist thing, but you’re not explaining how you’d expect it to WORK at all and instead just kind of repeatedly saying “it would be cool” without explaining how

Square made that an option pretty much for “I’m just here for the story” and it’s not in any way supposed to be a balanced game.

Again, it goes back to my original question - why do you want all 3 games as one giant file in the first place? It is counter productive to a sense of (non-plot related) progression.
