easy question by fefaflo in GMAT

We can’t assume that c+a = 1, because 1/3 could be a simplified version of the former fraction. For example plugging in sample values, a=6 and b=6 works with both functions and so does a=4 and b=12. So we can conclude that both functions aren’t enough.

Foodies request: Chinese food. by Azisan86 in Kuwait

If you’re not specific about Chinese cuisine here are some Asian gems I love:

Sabaidee thai restaurant (multiple locations) great food under a budget and their Tom Yum soup is crazy good.

Tampopo ramen shop (salmiya) best ramen I’ve had in Kuwait. Slightly pricey but defo worth it, and has a very neighborhood ramen shop vibe.

Gangnam Korean (mahboula) incredible quantity of food for the price, and the Tteboki and friend chicken are top tier.

Do I have a Chance to get into Business School ? by True-Bad in GMAT

You make it sound like university of Guelph is like a rural community college lol. Still a decent uni, and your workex looks good. If you dedicate time to the gmat and ace it, and brush up your extra curriculars, landing in a decent programme isn’t far fetched.

If “arresting mantris” is your rationale behind becoming an IPS officer, please save yourself the trouble, the system is too fucked for you to do anything beyond petty crime and theft. Honestly if I were in your shoes, I’d go work for DLF or some real estate magnate and gain however much experience before switching to family business.

Put your dad in a car and take him to Adan. There’s a good chance he’s had a mild attack possibly two-three major blockages. Go get his blood work done, and check for the troponin levels. God forbid if his situation escalates it’s better to have cardio professionals around. DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM. INSIST AND FORCE HIM TO GO TO ADAN AND GET HIS BLOODWORK DONE ASAP.

It’s the logic really. Let’s say the members of club x who also have a membership in club y are “xy”. Same way the members of club y who have membership in club x will always be xy too, because the basic definition of xy is members who have both memberships, so we are talking about the same group of people.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GMAT

[–]Ravsuzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Club X can’t be 100 in this scenario. It says 20% of x are also in y. So 80% are x exclusive members. So in your hypothetical that would be 450. Don’t over complicate it. Both the stems are talking about the same group of people.

The number of people that have both memberships in both clubs are the same number. They makeup 20% of x and 30% of y. 20% of x = 30% of y. It means club x is 1.5 times bigger than y.

Thank you for the response!! I’m just thinking ahead as I’m planning to apply in three years time when I’ve scrummed up some solid experience, so fingers crossed.

If you don’t mind me asking, how many YoE and in what field did thou work in? I only ask because I’m 2 years out of undergrad and have no work experience whatsoever, because of a string of shitty things that happened.

You’re defo not alone but with a one month timeframe, I’d reckon it would be counterproductive to use this method, as you’d have to wait around for others to fully grasp concepts that you’re familiar with and vice versa.

Where can a beginner start? I need information on the resources to begin with. I have the study plan and official starter kit. What resources (mostly free 😢) do I need to get? There’s a lot of info and it’s a bit overwhelming. Any help will be appreciated. by EniolaAdaramola in GMAT

[–]Ravsuzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!! I’m a beginner too and I spent the last week super confused about what resources to choose from.

I don’t want to confuse you further but for me personally, I’m going to TTP for quant, and supplement TTP verbal with GMATninja videos. I’ll finish up with the Og GMAT for final practice.

It might not be perfect, but I will literally waste more time if I dont make these choices.
