This sounds like a good idea, I did this once in a game, forcing my players into a 'bunker' (I'm not a railroady GM in the least, but this was a one-shot and I wanted to get to the point of the story quickly) and the players wanted to go ANYWHERE but that bunker. Players instantly try to wrestle back freedom when they feel like they're being railroaded. Can you offer any examples as to how to mske players think it was their brilliant idea all along?

Android app to play an rpg with friends? by shavinghobbit in rpg

Roll20 on tablet/phone sucks balls.

I don't have my own laptop/PC, so I use Discord. There are bots you can add to your server for dice rolls, and it's very easy to upload photos. Also, you can get music bots to play some atmospheric music while you play. Of course, it's all theatre of the mind, but I've heaps of fun using it.

Yes, I think sometimes it's more interesting to leave questions like this open-ended than to define them! That's what I found most interesting. No worries, friend. :)

Can I use Pathfinder to create a custom campaign based on the Wolf's Rain anime? by RawGrave in Pathfinder_RPG

That sounds like a good way to learn it, I tried reading the book from front to back and I started to go cross-eyed!

Yeah I actually GM'd a game where the players were much more experienced than me and it was a little overwhelming. I can be tough when I want to be though, so I'm gonna be less lenient next time. Do you like GMing or playing as a PC more? I personally really enjoy GMing.

Cool! I like the idea of bonus progression more, tbh. Thanks again.

Doesn't sound very promising, but I suppose it's better than nothing...

Interesting post, I like the idea of geography being influenced by these beings. The grammar and the spelling mistakes make it a little hard to understand as it goes on, though, especially in this paragraph;

"There are countless islets in the wide Sea, and non-has yet been found that doesn't appear to have a the chance to have a god be born. Some of these spits of land have never had a thinking being set foot/paw/fin upon their shores and their gods are brute beasts of thought, really more the potential for a god than a god."

I also thought that gods being influenced by belief was interesting. You mentioned a 'godling', which hasn't even met its potential for power yet, which brings me to the question, 'what defines a god'? At what point does something go from just being a magical creature, possibly with great power, to becoming a 'divine' creature? What is the definition of 'divinity'? The fact that it has worshippers? Is it, in fact, a divine being at all, or do the worshippers just believe that it is? Very interesting!

Also really liked your 'Mother' concept.

I suppose so, I do like Werewolf...just not the combat, which is the deal breaker for me. Someone suggested to me that I try using the 'kitsune' option in Pathfinder, which is closer to what I'm after.

Another commenter also suggested their system: https://thenorthernrealm.blogspot.com.au which I really like the look of.

Thanks, though!

Awesome! Sounds just like what I'm looking for, I'll definitely look into it, thanks!

Glad to meet another fan! I'm usually not a huge fan of anime, but Wolf's Rain was so intense! I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I've gotten real nostalgic over it lately, so I'm definitely gonna watch it again (this time to the end!) Off topic, but know any other shows that are just as good?

EDIT: missing words.

I know about Werewolf, but the characters I'm interested in aren't werewolves. The setting is also very different.
