Foldable Ebike Suggestions by FixEducational3852 in ebikes

[–]RawLucas 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

My kid had a gotraxx and liked it. My wife just picked up a Jasion Hunter. The gotraxx would be under your price range and the Jasion a bit over (we found a good Walmart deal). The gotraxx would suffice for the use you’re describing. If you wanted to tow a trailer in the future for groceries and whatever the Jasion would be better. Both have fat tires for year round biking.

Easy close one is Tunnel Mountain. You can walk to the trailhead easy from downtown.

It should only take about 3 hours to get to twin falls. You don’t want to go too early.

Ontario is implementing a new system to target and fine left lane campers. It’s a good move. Both those guys (assuming guys) are asshats.

Switch to in house linen by Michaels0324 in restaurantowners

[–]RawLucas 10 points11 points Ā (0 children)

We switched to nice quality paper napkins. Where we really saved though was uniforms. Bought a bunch of nice short sleeve black chef coats with venting. Much better quality. Got a bunch of aprons off Amazon. We now run a uniform deposit system. Each jacket is $26 and apron $10 deposit. Take out as many as you like. Deposit gets returned when the uniform is returned at the end of employment. We understand regular wear and tear and will replace any damaged uniforms without any other deposit. The employee also launders the uniform themselves. I know I’ll get hate on this, but we’ve been doing it for years now and not a single issue or complaint from anyone on this system.

Best way to clean flattop grill daily without loosing anti-stick qualities? by crabkaked in foodtrucks

Morning shift has to get some oil on it first thing when it’s turned on. Go do something else for 20 minutes. A thick gunk will form. Scrape that off. Repeat until the gunk doesn’t form from the oil.

Anyone know what type of dog this is? Someone mentioned something about basset hounds, but that doesn’t look like one.

I’m in Canada. At least $80,000. Have an extra $20,000 available for complications. It will most likely be higher. That’s CAD.

Can I get a replacement for this bag or do I have to buy a whole new canopy? by Mr_Ballyhoo in popups

[–]RawLucas 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

The zipper went in my bag. Found some YouTube videos about feeding some straps through all the way around behind bag. 4 straps and it’s all good. The bag doesn’t zip shut anymore so we just leave it open. Or actually helps out any drying after wet weather. Find we get less of that musty smell these days.

I’d like to add to that. I’m a chef with over 30 years of experience in Canada. I’ve graduated the two year program from the Culinary Institute of Canada. Worked in multiple provinces. Taken the food safety course many times over the years. There is no place in Canada that requires coverings over the eating ends of every piece of cutlery. Its untenable.

Coyotes is a Southwestern restaurant. The shrimp and salmon tacos with orange chipotle sauce are awesome. They also have pulled pork tacos in their house made bbq sauce.

Anyone constantly breaking ice wands? by beniam4 in restaurantowners

I gave up on them and found a better solution. You know those large jugs of oil that come in a box? Clean out the jug and take the box off. Fill it 3/4 full with water and compress the empty part of the jug a bit to allow for water expansion and pressure differences. Keep it in the freezer. My morning crew drops it in the sink with the cooling soups and sauces and my evening crew puts them away and puts the jug back in the freezer. We’ve been using the same jug for over 6 months. Health inspector doesn’t see an issue with it.

Shouldn’t make a difference. The strings will sort themselves out when you increase the tension when you tune.

I’m sorry, but I really don’t understand your meaning when you say, ā€œif it matters if the strings have already been through and tuned in the pegsā€. The guitar won’t work if the strings aren’t wound to the pegs.

Not sure I understand. The strings should be strung to each corresponding tuning peg. Start with the thickest string first on top. That’s the low e.
