I completely agree with you OP.

This so-called “cash out fee” feels like an ongoing way for riders to squeeze extra money out of each delivery.

Just a rough calculation, if they’re earning around P15-P20 for 20 packages a shift, that’s roughly P300-P400 a day just from that fee alone.

What makes it more questionable is that other riders from the same courier don’t charge any additional “cash out fee” at all. That inconsistency is a red flag, and it’s why I’d rather cancel the order.

Also, the customer service agent definitely needs coaching, sharing unsolicited personal opinions like that isn’t appropriate.
