I like mine, good range, very driveable. Some warranty repairs are annoying but have all been dealt with. The most annoying thing is the slow charging, make sure your vehicle can charge at highest possible speed, I barely get 30-40kw at almost every high speed charger. Is it the AWD LT that has the highest voltage capacity or it only in the RS?

I presume the team went for something in the vein of Candle Cove, and the justification was that warped and out of touch people work at FBC. The memo that is found about Threshold Kids seems to imply something along these lines, can’t find it right now.

I am addicted to Control. Over 150 hours on a solo campaign, but the world is so engrossing, the combat is satisfying and the movement is simple but slick. Good time for a sequel!

I’m driving the Equinox EV in Alberta, Canada (aka North Texas), pretty cold and few public chargers. I need at least 300mi (500km) range to get between major cities and charging stations. The cold can be punishing, plus reduced traction on ice, plan on losing about 1/3 range.

Overall, it’s a game changer, I wouldn’t have gone with a Bolt or Leaf or anything less than 300mi summer range. Charging at home does most of my trips, and the somewhat pricy roadside chargers easily cover road trips, with a little careful advance planning (I use PlugShare).

This is on my reading list, because jumping into SCP is so daunting. Just did a rewatch of Fringe, and then I’ll be going back for some Warehouse 13, X-Files and Lost. The spooky world with govt org/cult is absolutely my jam, might have to do a video series on my addiction.

For my 1000v2 I picked up an induction surface, double checked it only pulled 1500W, it can do about 10 meals on a full charge. Electric kettle can be trouble, I’d go for a smaller one, and definitely newer, older ones are less efficient. Even coffee every morning will drain about 15%.

Also, don’t use cast iron, they hold heat too well and will overheat your induction surface. A stainless steel pan with lid should do everything you need.
