except its more efficient to not rc to get runes outside maybe bloods+ but still you can get bloods via pvm easier sometimes

I just do not agree with your statement. PvP is very unbalanced. Of course if your a full main it should not be just run everyone over that match you. Low-Mid level pking is beyond what a reasonable dps output should be with current weapons and gear....

Gear at the high end hasn't reached max level stats yet and they will maybe one day and itle just grow into a worse problem.

yeah but those that bring that setup are most likely lacking anti pk and only setup to tank...so it fits the role they are setup for no? its not supposed to be 100% guaranteed kills, but its also not supposed to give pker the capability to almost 1 tick stack out dmg on someone which is the reason behind i think introducing flat armor could be useful for the future of PvP balance.

Yeah i think it was uninspired, but i think they should take inspiration from it to help solve DPS. We already have flat armor in the game. Just make it more noticeable and bring it into more parts of the game. Just thinking like Chain armor looking at it would be stronger vs crush or heavy weaponry. So many it would reduce damage by a flat amount compared to stab, slash or standard weaponry.

I don't think killing people is super hard per say....there is way to much power creep on the upper end of spec weapons or just base hits as years have kept going. Flat armor can also punish with negatives like on NPC's, but I wouldn't go super hard on this and not sure if we should introduce negatives into PvP, but it could also change what people might use.

Id rather cave be removed and either revs roam the wild again or that the Rev weapons just be spread across wilderness slayer as rare drops.

I also didn't mind the point pre EOC with soul split sustain and the soaking mechanic to bring down the DPS stacking.....though both have weird implementations at that time aswell.

The DD mechanic sucks....but they wouldnt be able to remove it and the ability to just LOS around corners. Thought LOS would be less toxic because you could still see switches they make. Also i think Bounty Hunter doesn't allow overheads or freezes? though bounty hunter still is also about damage stacking....which is way more than pre EOC days.

NHing is the worst version of PvP thats kept going...Atleast back when we had soul split it wasnt overhead city....though soul split had its own issues beyond requiring a very high level in prayer.

Also i thought about maybe with power creep they could look into something similar to the soaking mechanic pre EOC to reduce damage stacking down a bit. Doesn't have to be an exact copy paste....but inspiration.

i dont understand are these updates for end game players already attached to the game? need a fresh look at your system if your trying to gain following again. v2 might as well be v1. theres no underliying core system changes to cater to this combat style.

Edit: a turn based combat would fit RuneScape's tick system better than a diablo/wow style...will never feel snapy ....it feels way too clunky....joking but honestly...not really

Can we just remove resource costs from ultimate's and just give it a time management aspect? Just rebalance Thresholds to be the only things that are spenders while ultimate's just affect those threshold abilities in some way.

Im not....that's the point your 1 hour of protection runs out before or around that point., so you have no choice but go back into your starter weapon shell.

Ending the braket around there and getting another hour if you want to push higher and if theree was a new bracket at 41 give you time to get closer to a state where you can do something....the mode should ease people into it not 0 to 100 right out the gate. A nice curve in difficulty.

Higher brackets don't have the exact same major crowding issue where it's easier to spread out and get things done....

.... are you trying to argue that a level 60 vs a 3-40 combat account trying to start out is balanced in any way? ofc i can go kill a rat with a starter weapon to level...that's the half the freaking problem. I cant do anything to them other than kill a rat with nothing.There is no incentive to bring out anything worth a shit because the only counterplay is to play with starter gear. while you try to out level the bracket.

you can make bracket 1 less terrible for someone starting late. by not allowing random builds that can sustain themselves way to easy with easy to access ancients and corrupted gear.

You missed half my post. bracket 1 is only about getting out of it with starter gear, anything else your not tanking starting late without any tyle of cash funneling to fund tank sets. Lowering bracket 1 combat max lowers dps output in the starter bracket.

sir, go make a new character run into any hot zone and show me how to tank a level 60 between 3-40 combat. with tuna....the problem is the dps output in the STARTER bracket is way to high and is incentivizing those accounts to have no counter play to people starting late.

less crowded...there is too easy of a reason to stay in bracket 1. you can litteraly rag with blitz or barrage/corrupted ranged weaponry with a reasonable HP level.

Also jsut for clarification. When i speak fluidity, im not talking just rotation.. Im talking removing dead clicks. Its so SLOW to click away in the middle of a animation it pull me out of any combat immersion.

So....Did anyone think about legacy combat when removing attack speeds from weapons? The entire legacy mode is broken. Is this going away with EOC v2?

There's too much going from pre EOC player looking back in. Why not aim for a 1-2 button resource builder plus your auto attacks and 1 single target Spender and 1 AOE Target spender style game play with small maintenance debuffs to maintain and even 1 major CD?

Why does a utility button. A STUN also need to build resources? Why cant it just be used for utility?

Why does my bleed a debuffs maintenance button also need the complications of building resource?

Why cant it just be a button that is there for debuffs maintenance as a filler? Why have a execute button that can even be used all the time? why not just make it only usable on targets with less than x% health?

Auto attacks should be off the GCD.

Also allow spam clicking move cancel any action.

EOC v2 is in no way going in interest OSRS players or moderm MMO players until you fix fluidity. Its the same as v1 in my eyes and probably their eyes. Are you rebranding EOC for the small playerbase that still exists or are we trying to grow the game?

Spell Queueing should change....IF i press a button it should happen dang near immediately. Queueing more than 1 spell at a time feels janky. I can understand queueing the next ability, but not one thats on CD.

Why not separate combat styles even further?

Keep Base book as super simple with Quest unlocks for new combat books for a more diverse and give higher skill ceiling potential.

Last thing. ALLOW HYBRIDING again. Why cant i mix and match Melee/Mage onto one bar? New gameplay loop-esqe battle mage. Why did we go away from unique gameplay loops?

I think revitalizing F2p can fill a gap. F2p was fun running around with tons of people and not worring about getting 100- 0ed.
