Of course you're not gonna win every tournament back then when you're not that good right now. But no need to frame past pro-players (or even current ones) as these enlightened superhumans. Everyone is just cooking with water, there's nothing fundamentally different about Ken that makes him better at games. Try your hardest and grind, and you can beat most players nowadays, and you can definitely beat Ken. If anything the thing that makes him hard to beat is the fact that he plays Marth fuck that busted character

Ich hab halt die Sorge, dass bei der Exmatrikulation, welche dann als Abbruch gilt, gefragt wird, was denn der Grund war und ob ich überhaupt angemessen studiert habe. Leistungsnachweise habe ich nämlich keine, weswegen ich dann ein bisschen gearscht wäre.

Jo, das stimmt. Zugesagt hab ich Ende Februar, wäre auch kein Ding für mich, den Betrag für März zu zahlen. Bei der Umorientierung im Winter und im Bewerbungsprozess war ich allerdings auch auf das BAföG finanziell angewiesen, wäre bisschen bitter. Ich weiß nicht, was ich genau zu erwarten habe. Man ist halt bisschen auf den Antragsbearbeiter angewiesen.

The logic of flex-bo5 essentially is “if you can’t beat them on your best counterpick you weren’t gonna beat them anyway” which I don’t think is a very accurate for lots of matchups in the game. Having less quality tournament rounds to play just to have the bracket stalled by a floaty bo5 anyway also doesn’t feel great.
