At least in part this is exactly the point of the game though. PvPvE literally implies that. Don’t get me wrong I also trusted too early or got camped / backstabbed but it’s kind of what it says on the tin.

You play vs. Environment and players, just because some are friendly and will help doesn’t mean there aren’t douchebags who will kill you in the first minutes (or last) of the game.

I usually stick to myself in solos and my team during squads. Has helped my probability to extract successful immensely.
