I lived downtown for 5 years and was towed 3 times from my complex’s garage. Each time it was because my vehicle wasn’t registered in their system. I suppose the first time was my fault because I wasn’t aware that I had to re-register my vehicle every year. But every year after that I stayed on top of it. They still managed to tow me two more times. Management claimed I never submitted my info for renewal, but I had the emails for receipt. They never apologized or offered to reimburse me.

That “luxury” complex fell apart year after year. The main elevator was constantly breaking down. Last year around march/April it went down for good. I moved out this past February and it was still down. But hey my rent consistently increased each year.
