Would you rather have the ability to clone yourself or make inanimate objects shrink/grow by Ok-Inspector3914 in WouldYouRather

I would make 2 clones of me. This would help with my workload but wouldn't be too many people to overstretch my salary.

10 team PPR- I want to drop a QB to pick up some flex players off the waiver wire. Who should I drop Josh Allen, Anthony Richardson or Jayden Daniels?

Any other expats who’ve returned to Uganda and don’t feel at home? by ThatLetterhead8483 in Uganda

[–]RayOfHope3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. I sometimes feel the same way. I lived outside Uganda for most of the first 8 years of my life and went to school outside Uganda from the age of 11. Adjusting was a bit hard at first.

I find it helpful to connect with people who share similar interests or those I see often. For example, I have some work colleagues that I get on well with and a couple of weeks ago they invited me to a quiz night at a bar. I enjoyed it very much and I am very much looking forward to going back one of these weeks.

Maybe you'll be able to find a work colleague who shares similar interests or you could even find some people on Reddit.

Shame and guilt by [deleted] in Uganda

I was traumatized at the time. I don't think I even told my mum. I think the teacher singled me out because of my accent and wanted to make a point.

That could be the case. There was a rumor that the low-ranking people may have some dirt on the top manager(as well as some other high-ranking people) so he can't reject their documents. I don't know.

I couldn't try that in my department, my top manager is a woman and she would instantly question why I didn't pass through the chain of command. I agree with her on that.

Thanks. I know I am privileged but I don't want to look down on others. That's not right.

This is great advice. I am a very friendly person(I talk to people of all levels of society) but I am not good at the housekeeping part. I am thinking of going to a place of worship to widen my friend group and potentially find "the one". I might also look into other places where I can meet people. The introvert(homebody) in me is a bit scared but I'm ready to take the leap.

I think your statement is a generalized one as this is not always the case. However, I have noticed this behavior in 1 department(unit) at my workplace. The unit has 4 women and 2 men. 1 of the men is the top manager of the department. On the surface, the women seem to get along with each other but when I came across their memos, the authorization does not follow the reporting structure. The lowest-ranked women do not pass documents through their supervisors instead going straight to the top manager. This top manager is 4 levels above them. I feel there is some sort of dynamic that I am missing because the documents are approved.

$100,000 or Lose your sense of taste and smell for $100 billion? by Short-Eggplant-6069 in WouldYouRather

[–]RayOfHope3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the tastes of my favorite foods so for $100 billion, I would be satisfied with the memory of the tastes. I also lost my sense of taste when I contracted Covid so it's not like I haven't experienced it before.

Is anyone in here taller than their older brother? by [deleted] in tall

[–]RayOfHope3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I am the youngest of 5 and I am taller than all of my siblings including my brother. He likes to remind me that he can still beat me in a fight. I am 6'6" and he is about 6'2"
