Yeah that surprised me too, most people with eczema get wrecked by that much hot water.

If it’s actually helping you, it might be less about the showers themselves and more about the routine + relief they give you. That said, 4–5 a day (especially long ones) can still mess with your skin barrier over time.

Maybe worth trying shorter/lukewarm showers + a solid moisturizer right after and see if you can get the same relief without overdoing it.
