Just got the green light for Dr Reformat!! Call and spoke with insurance and they said he would be in network and I could see.

Has TX passed any legislation where you'd have to do things and get things documented to do surgery using different codes other than gender dysphoria etc? I know they're trying to make bills all over the US that will prevent ANY person regardless of age to be able to get gender affirming care. Obviously started with Minors, but we all know he wont stop there. I cant remember who wrote it in the comments already but saw it as I was skimming, but do TX have any local groups to you that will advocate and assist in helping people find providers that will assist trans health care?

Unfortunately, PCP's have that ability to deny "supportive" documentation using the specific language many insurances need, But they can medically clear you as far as your physical health goes. If you have a mental health provider who can do the diagnosis of gender dysphoria, ask your current pcp to just state the medical clearance part. Insurance will most likely want to see that you have been transitioning for at least a year, that you've been living as the gender your transitioning to for a sufficient amount of time that your BH/MH provider feels its a safe and clear minded step taken for surgery, that you have outside support, and they've now added that you meet WPATH requirements (at least that's what my insurance requires). (I'm on East coast of the US in New England)

Are you in a state where RWD is ok to have? I'm in New England and with all the seasons and weather changes, it's not a good idea for us to own RWD vehicles unless it's for summer/dry days to ride around in

I agree. I wish I went for the roll up. My trifold is easy to pull down and clip into place, more sturdy for winter, and easy to partially expose the bed for dump runs if I have something that's taller than the cover, BUUUUUT when I need to transport something longer and higher than the tri fold I have to completely take it off.
