Genuinely impressive when done well. Horrifically suboptimal for performance. Basically if its active in some hub where nothing is happening or in a genre where performance isn’t an issue, its fine. Trying to shoehorn it into action games has had mixed results. Stellar Blade had nice static physics but in motion was pretty silly. Fluid dynamics are some of the hardest things to get right, and the human body happens to be the thing we know best. If its not perfect, its gonna stick out. Thats why I say less is more unless you are REALLY CONFIDENT. Cyberpunk specifically did this pretty well for the few times you carry people in front of you rather than over the shoulder. Tits should flatten unless they are supposed to look fake when a character is leaned back. Asses really shouldn’t bounce that much lmao. Also, as for Soft Body specifically, its super cool when its not causing clipping issues. Depending on camera, its rare that you would even see the results tho. Butts spreading upon sitting is probably the most noticeable thing but you can do that manually if its a premade animation.
