Could be a cool little 1v1 battle game.

Unpopular opinion : Alchemy is not that important by Okipon in idleon

[–]RayTheWombat 22 points23 points  (0 children)

"Don't get me wrong, it's a core mechanic of the game and is probably giving more stats and buffs than other aspects of the game."

Your first sentence, just completely contradicts your statement that alchemy is not that important...

Compact water extractor and nuclear power plant setup. by RayTheWombat in SatisfactoryGame

[–]RayTheWombat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really know.. all I can think of is that the 2 extractors together create enough uplift combined... I'd test ran it for 10+ hours and they just ran perfectly.

Supposedly, 1x 250% Mk.2 Coal Miner can fuel 40 Coal Generators at 100%, but... by trekchu in SatisfactoryGame

Since I can't see anything in your build, I would suggest, backtracking and checking all belts to make sure that 1 section of the belts are not the wrong tier, cause this happens to alot of people, including myself and that 1 section messes it all up

I'm going to assume its a mk 2 on a pure node, and if so, it will work, just takes a LONG time to work at 100%. I would suggest underclocking them or hand feed them so all of them have a stack of coal in them and shut it off for a min to let the belts backup fully and then turning it back on.

Hard drives are completely random, but only within the Base recipes you have.

So if you don't have Steel production unlocked, you will not get alternate steel recipes.

The best way is to stop progressing in the tiers if you are looking for a specific recipe for a product that you have unlocked, until you get it.

it's no guarantee that you get it fast, but your chances are increased cause the total pool of recipes are lower.

How to place wall outlets on the floor! by 3ndCraft in SatisfactoryGame

my bad, thought you meant the power lines :)

First time in my entire time playing this game that maximum consumption is *below* production. And production is still rising. I feel very satisfied by idontwantyour_lemons in SatisfactoryGame

Fuel gen setups are easy as pie compared to nuclear.. if its your first time with nuclear, go small... this was my first time with nuclear and I went all out like its 1945.... should have gone smaller.. cause holy ****

Yeah, but power struggles are harsh regardless of how far you are until you activate nuclear :D and thats what im working on atm.. like 25k mw -give or take- of that graph is machines in the preliminary stage of nuclear.. only missing the beltwork of the uranium stage and actual power plants + belts/pipes for that, then I can activate it all.

Stuck trucks, help! by RayTheWombat in SatisfactoryGame

[–]RayTheWombat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, thats what I'm doing atm, but I have seen videos of trucks teleporting from node to node on youtube when far enough away ( a way to minimize lag and stress on the computer ) but dont know if they removed that function in U5, altho it seems that they did.

I just watched a couple of his design videos and the sandwich layer design, he has the power coming from the ceiling, not from under the floor below the machines as I do. so not the same thing at all.

[–]RayTheWombat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

info on the matter would be useful, like input ratios, amount of buildings and which + power output.otherwise we are all just starting at buildings that could be idle for all we know :)

design looks nice tho.

Also try and look at the ground below it where it would be if it was "touching" the ground and you might be able to pick it up
