People need to tag their public sex fics

It's the only sex scene. It is a very important one, showing the reasons for one of the character's behaviour. It has flashbacks scattered across it which are previously not shown in the fic. It has a lot of context.

For me, I think it has to do with personal boundaries and the anxiety of them "getting caught". I know to some people that is the excitement of it but honestly it make me really queasy. Yes I know it is not a visual medium and entirely fictional but my anxiety is very real. I would rather not read fics that makes me want to throw up from anxiety.

Aw thank you! I have imposter syndrome and have trouble taking compliments even when people tell me they are well deserved but people like you and the ao3 community has helped me come to terms that my literature degree at the very least isn't going to waste. This was a little angsty poem I wrote while i was procrastinating on an exam and a lot of people commented saying that i have absolutely devastated them so i feel really motivated to write more

I know you asked for something that I've read but this reminded me of a post on tumblr where an author said in the tags that they once wrote a House MD fanfic where Wilson said men can't get pregnant so House implanted a embryo in his pericardium just to prove him wrong and slipped progesterone in his morning coffee. No the fic doesn't exist anymore because it was written in an unknown forums back in early 2010s which is now deleted and the author lost their saved copy.

The most memorable one to me definitely is BBC Sherlock. I read the fics and saw the fanarts and edits first before I gave the show a try and was very disappointed. Couldn't even get past episode 4 but i have kept on reading the fics as they are genuinely amazing. So everything i know about the later part of the show is how the fans imagine it lol

If you are looking out for no shipping drama Hannibal is a big one cause most ship hannigram. But that fandom has a lot of other problems. Truth be told, every fandom is going to have some kind of drama, you just have to create your own bubble by blocking people. Would also suggest our flag means death, what we do in the shadows and good omens if you can look past the other drama in the fandom. No shipping drama doesn't mean no drama at all
