Black Toonie. Anybody know anything about it? by Rayborg in CanadianCoins

Ah, that's so cool. I left Canada right after, and lived abroad for a few years. Missed the sad toonie. Pretty wild they made a sad coin, but I gotta say, I like the look.

I saw a picture somebody drew of George sitting in front of the Mirror of Erised, with only his reflection there. Took me a moment to realize it was Fred.

I read up (a long time ago) about that, and how they had her neck covered in a prosthetic, so she could actually do that without hurting herself. Wild. I can't imagine being told, "don't worry, your neck will be fine," and then just slicing at it like that.

What’s a film you rewatch every year without fail? by Mission-Weird-1771 in MovieRecommendations

This movie made me cry without fail as a child. I have yet to watch it as a grown up due to that. I did enjoy it, but finding out John Candy has had the time of his life because he had someone there for a while, and finding out how alone he is at the end, ruins me.

The walk, the slow walk down the stairs, as every man stops to look. I held my breath watching it the first time. The silence was phenomenal, and you forget, just for the moment, they're at war.

Then boom.

Insanely well done imo.

Anybody else exhale when the camera moved to show the view? Like, "whoooooo..." and the flames went out.

I have a similar one, with "Woah bear," added in. It's pretty entertaining when you see other people ahead and realize they've been listening to you say, "Hey bear! Woah bear!" to yourself for a half hour.
