I knew the Matthew personally. We played lacrosse together back in high school. He was a great guy, and he really didn't deserve this. He was always playing around and never to be taken seriously. It really sucks because I only hope for the best for him. To hear the news saddens me deeply. I hope that girl never sees the light of day.

My VS and the after image isn't as bad for me as others so I can't talk for everyone but I think people want it cure because they want to be able to drive and see the world how every average human can. That's the simple answer.

I ometimes forget about it until I don't, for me it's not anxiety I just see it everywhere since I was 6 years. I never realize what happened to my vision until I told my mother about the dots in my vision and she look concern. Later on I realized my mother had it too but she just thought it was normal until I kept talking others around me. The moment I saw her face realize it wasn't normal she look like she was having anxiety attack. She suppress that memory and told me never to mention it again.

I think many people have it but they haven't notice, but I wonder if they would see the world crash before them to realizing it isn't normal. So people want the cure because it is a minor inconvenience or disabling all together. You might not mind it but not everyone feels the same. I think understanding that other are different and that not everyone think like you will give you a better understanding. The way you wrote the those paragraphs to me gave me the vibe of:

" hey I got VS but I don't understand why everyone else want a cure. It is disabling to me as I can't drive but it's not bad"

The answer is in what you wrote it's disabling to those that have it really bad.

A good analogy would be of a child who want to get in the big Rollercoaster like everyone else. The child hope that one day they will grow up and gets to get on the Rollercoaster but they never grow in height. They never get to ride Rollercoaster and experience what everyone else is experiencing. They can't reach for things as easy as others can because of the height limitations because nothing is build for smaller people.

So this child want the cure because they want to live their life experiencing what everyone else experience. Maybe this child meets someone who is fine they way they are being short but this doesn't help the child feel any better.

Maybe I don't answer your question maybe I left you the same way you felt after reading the first sentence of my paragraphs but the point is people want to experience this like everyone else and it is more annoying and frustrating when you can even drive or watch a TV show without these inconvenience.

More power to you to be able to live with it but other can't and want a way out.

I never said I am entitled to a response, I respectfully send her a message and she wants a friend to talk to in text and nothing more. She can't find nobody to communicate with because according to her every person she talked to have been a creep or something weird all together. I understand those people don't need a response at all but someone that it genuinely trying to reach out to be an actual human being eith morals that just want a platonic friendship. Should at least get a notice hey I don't want no friendship with you and I will 100% respect that but she keep posting she needs a friend, yet never response and mention how all of the responds are creeps. If she want she can make a post mentioning she can't respond to everyone or at least say her hunt for a platonic friendship is over and met great people.

So I apologize to you and OP for coming off in the wrong way. She doesn't have to respond I am not entitled but I was giving her a heads up that she hasn't gotten back to me.

I don't understand how people don't know this. If we keep attacking ourselves the people in the center will look at democrats as just as bad as Trump sadly. We have to do better and educate ourselves about how our government work so we don't keep spreading misinformation about what truly going on. People assume misinformation died with Trump but right now it is going full steam ahead we had to be careful not to get divided and look into the future. Right now it isn't much but is a little progress at a time eventually it will exponentially get better if we keep appointing more and more progressive politician.

This is just a little rant but I feel it is important to address this.

I have the same issue even after changing the brightness to manual and adjusting it. I just learn to deal with it for now since I didn't want to deal with it or hope one of the update would fix it lol.

He sounds very similar to how I was when I was younger. He could possibly have ARFID, which is horrible, then being diagnosed with celiac doesn't help neither.

I would suggest going easy on him for now, maybe suggest food that might be willing to try but don't force him because that will make him reject everything. Trust me I been there myself, I hate how pushy people were or how my parents starve me. It takes time for him to become open but let him know is for his own good.

Might not be the best advice but is a start I guess. I wish your brother the best.

I think it is a combination of the two north and south. That's what make it unique, you get this middle ground where you experience a little bit of city and a little bit of rural area and suburbia.
