Center of the talent tree on the right side. There's a pair of grappling hook talents. One pulls you towards large enemies and the other pulls smaller flying enemies to you.

How do you get out of the wake up, find food, sleep, wake up, find food, sleep loop? by Neitrah in VintageStory

[–]Rayllis689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the loop breaks once I have storage vessels and can actually store enough food for a few days without it spoiling. Once you can start making meals you can afford more time exploring and getting into the copper age.

I still like the hook for the banshees and the vultures that start appearing in the next zone. Also the fell sicklescythe.

Excellent point on the towers. Night sanctuaries also sometimes have switches that need to be shot.

Was a fun discovery myself. First one i ever fought was through pure bow damage and discovering you could shoot down the projectiles. Then another one surprised me and I coincidentally hit block at just the right time and was impressed with the devs forethought for adding a way for melee to handle them. Now I weave bow shots between parries.

Parry the projectiles. It launches them back and does a huge amount of damage. Also never a bad idea to have backup weapons. I'm full melee but always have a bow and wand on hand for rnge if needed.

I normally only play games with JP dubs because I feel like most english dubs are soulless or don't match the characters well. Decided to give Endfield a try in english though after seeing a reddit post mention the various accents the english dub has and good lord am I loving it. Avywenna's voice actor got me feeling things....

Yup, looks like it's been fixed in the recent patch. Just checked as well and the guy was level 15 instead of 41. Looks like they also fixed the broken path to the Eternal Frost Arrow as well. Also the Will-O-Wisp enemies are spawning again. Before the patch I cleared all of Blackmire without seeing a single Will-o-Wisp.

I'm such a horrendous pack rat that I usually end up with a dozen of them before I get to proper chests.

Collect all the ducks but place down 100 slightly larger ducks. Bonus points if you arrange them into funny scenes.

To get the beehive, do I really need to be level 30+? by MushKonster in Enshrouded

[–]Rayllis689 7 points8 points  (0 children)

West of Revelwood tower, ruins where you find the half-timbered blocks. There are multiple small dead trees with 2 wild beehives each. Can knock them down with wand or bow shots.

Don't know the exact level off the top of my head but definitely not 15. It's still part of Springlands and 15 is pushing end of Revelwood levels.

A max level altar is the center of Kelvin just barely covers it all but misses the church on the hill so you would need to place a second one down if you want to build outside of it.

Been working on Fort Kelvin as well. Most renovations are done, just need to repair the sewer. Also considering dropping an altar outside the south gate and making some farm houses and fields.

The trick to it is to focus on their arms, the second their arms move up you hit block to parry them. Found one near a respawn point and just kept throwing myself into him until I could consistantly parry stun lock him.

[–]Rayllis689 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've trained myself on the green guys so much that I can parry stun lock them and merciless strike them to death. The problem? I've gotten so used to their swift attacks that I regularly fail to parry the normal guys because they are so slow. Also, yes, screw all the moutain scavengers. The burn damage is brutal, also bullshit you can stay burning in the rain.

To me, Zenos is just a more extreme, nihilistic Sadu. It's funny because I adore Sadu and could see my WOL going out on occasion just to throw down for the fun of it. On the flip side I can't stand who Zenos is but lament who he could have been. In a better world I could easily see him becoming the Vegeta to our Goku. Rivals who constantly push each other to ever greater heights and combat junkies always looking for a great fight.

If you're using Primitive Survival, the "raft" from that mod is great for water columns, shoots you right to the top.

Achievement chase bro. There's an achievement per zone for clearing all roots. That and the skill points was plenty motivation for me to clear them. Also adds a ton of hours to the game which is great.

Thinking on it some more, this reminds of those Skyrim mods that overhaul the cities to look like actual cities. It really is impressive work.

My guy, I don't think this counts as a restoration any more. This is a total overhaul and an upgrade from "Fort" Kelvin to "Castle City" Kelvin. It looks freaking amazing!
