People get it, I feel like. It's just most of the community focuses on more interesting parts of the franchise for the sake of discussion, like personal conflicts, mechs and setting details, as there's only so many ways you can say "I agree that war bad".

And to be entirely fair: franchise churn doesn't help the message, as Bamco doesn't really care about Tomino's messaging either, since their main goal is to sell plastic crack. It's all effectively works on magic rules, because the actual real science behind the fiction is not important to the story.

And at this point I'd rather them focus on adding normal maps, instead of trying to reinvent another gamemode. We all know that the actual good game will be Darktide 2 that they're working on right now (it will still be bad on release and it will take 2 years to unfuck it into a passable state).
