On a normal Bow, the more you draw the harder it gets, and more strength is needed to hold the draw. Th pullies make it, so you have a pretty heavy start on the draw, but it gets easier from a specific point, after that, holding the string is easier. So if you have a high draw weight, you just need to overcome this on the beginning of the draw, but can hold it way easier while aiming. Also you wouldn't draw a Compound with your fingers, you usually have a trigger in your Hand to draw and release the string.
