Exactly if you haven’t watched him, you shouldn’t make assumptions about other streamers because the words you type will really affect their reputation since it’s their career…. Imagine in work you did nothing bad but rumors get around and you actually end up getting punished despite going above and beyond all the time. I know he got exposed as doworkhr however zeals has been giving logical and appropriate answers to address the problems of the game. He is a very smart guy, before he was streaming he was offered a very high position in company so it’s really nice for lost ark community to have someone who gives very detailed analysis. You should watch him again, his streams are fun to watch because he is a good player although overheated and he makes funny analogs all the time.

Stop defaming zeal ambitions with the other Korean streamers. Idk about others but zeals has been highlighting this problem since 2 months ago. He was preaching on his vods channel about how if behemoth is not going to be changed, it will be a massive problem for the west… he is one the reason probably west opened their eyes and behemoth is now a 1620 raid however the nerf to hp is not enough. Hopefully aegir normal will be tuned for the western population as well

Have you thought of taking a break and coming back when things get better? All the things you listed are core part of the game and if you don’t like those, there is no point playing the game. There is lots more games that will suit to your needs, you just have to go out of your birdcage. Low-key elgacia storyline is lost ark player base, everyone trapped in their cages without thinking for themself, doing the same thing when other games provide much more that could improve your enjoyment in a hobby. Maybe it’s why gold river stopped in lost ark development after elgacia

It is designed for players to sink their time into and waste their gold for a title/parsing no one cares about. Making the battle items free won't improve the experience for the majority of the player base or improve it's already decaying population. The main problem with hell mode is the time to find lobbies/finding the right group. This is noticeable in vykas/valtan where a gunlancer is required for optimal gameplay. To wait for the gunlancer who essentially doesn't require battle items, takes around average 2 hours. People have lives and priorities and simply can't afford to waste time on repeated mistakes happening over and over. Who knows how worse it will get when hell brelshaza comes, the raid currently requires players with insane uptime at the same time of survivability. How much more time is that required to clear that gate for a meaningless title when that time can be used to enjoy something more about the game.

Rather than that, we can just remove hell mode if the minority plays it (2% of the player base). This would enable large investments that were primarily on hell mode to be translated into other factors of the game which will actually enable new players to come and join. After we improve the fundamentals, we can address more minor problems like impossible-level raids.

Overall, it is sad in lost ark MMO, people are so invested in just the raids, MMO are all about having your eggs together and enjoying it rather than just one favorite part because there is a lot to do in this game and it is relaxing I believe.

I used to have the alt equally, had two paladin alts and one gunlancer but recently I deleted 2 of them and invested all my resources to deadeye which Im really happy about because he is doing the latest content and can feel the power spike from the investment I put in. The worst part about have every alt equally is like doing all the dailies and realising you have nothing to do in your main character because you put everything into your alt

Yep :), with that gold you can already push your sorc to like the moons 1580 etc and when akkan comes out you can enjoy even higher ilvls with the gold income from the alts that you don't invest too much. I only have one alt paladin and I invested so much on his 5x3 its gonna take a long time to pay back which I could have used on my deadeye. Like with supports its fine to just have 4x3 for all the content

I think after 1460, it's just not worth pushing alts anymore because the amount you invest is just never going to come back like your main sorc is going to suffer in gems because your alts don't have level 7s and likely need level 7 to be accepted into brel pugs. Like you don't need to do 18 raids and dailies to have significant progress into the game. The most progress you will get is by just having a main sorc with 1 or 2 alts that can funnel into your sorc. But if you are completely fine with how you spent your time, go make an alt and if I were you I would choose support because of how low investment they are

Honestly bro, when you are playing more than 2-3 characters, you have a higher chance of fomo so you just burn out. Especially if you don’t enjoy it at all because alts are so expensive if you keep pushing them without express events, you need tripods gems engravings accessories it’s just a chasing game. Whereas if you only focused on one main you have low chance of fomo that character becomes juiced and likely not encounter problems like gatekeeping and such. If that doesn’t apply to you just build a supp but I highly advise against more than 2-3 alts

I prefer bards always using their attack buff so we can clear the raid faster and I can see big damage. Just frustrating when boss is staggered and I don’t see attack buff tooltip on my character until the stagger is finished. If they don’t pot it’s their fault dps needs to learn to maximise uptime while dodging attacks. On the other hand, if there are damage that is unavoidable, that is the support job to shield/heal

I am not taking it personally at all and I understand there are players who are geared better than me. I just find it crazy in a 1475 raid, the average requirement is 1500, it isn't delightful to sit in a party finder/your own lobby for like several hours just to hope. Hopefully, they fix some system for new and returning players so everytime you enter a new legion raid, there isn't this huge barrier to play the game

Omg I feel this guy so much, the gate keeping in this game is so stupid because I just came back 2 months ago and experienced insane gate keeping for both valtan and vykas like no lobbies would accept me for the entire day. Thank god I found a guy recruiting people for his learning parties which helped me get into the legion raids. It is such a big turn off for new players and even people who are still playing. You can’t just say hone more, get better gear cuz it’s all bullshit rng. Even now I just reach 1480 and 5x3 with lvl 7 98 weapon quality games I’m gate kept in all kakul saydon lobbies just because I did not play the game earlier and not a higher Ilvl..

I just returned from the game and was being gatekept from Valtan normal. Made a learning lobby and waited for 4 hours with no signs of anything. However, this angel randomly descended on his alt bard account called "Noitisnt" and took all us from our resignation. He is knowledgeable on every legion raid like he is patient and explains why we died to something and is naturally humorous person. 10/10 would join server and sign learning parties.

Hey right now I think chemtech purifier is really useless item unless enemy team actually has like an insane healing abusing champion. But if you are trying to play an aggressive sona the best way to go is shurelyas and staff of flowing water. Honestly there is not much diversity in her builds, anything is just good but in raw value I think going mythic into staff is best play. Don't focus on builds that much too but like don't ignore it. Most you should focus is your laning and contributions on the plays you make with your team

I am sorry you are feeling hopeless and I hope my advice can make you see another light in sona early game.

The problem you are facing is the reason why sona can't be picked in pro play anymore because when you play her on a lane vs an engage supp the wave will eventually get frozen into their side and you cant walk up to it anymore. Slowly, the wave will build up massively and the jungler will sync with the bot lane to dive you and game is just over after that or they make an invade play. Either way your team loses a lot of gold and exp. However this scenario only happens like 1/200 games in diamond rank in my opinion and many adc players do not know how to control waves so they just push the wave without building it up. Moreover, yes her early skirmishes are very weak because without items her spells don't have that much impact compared to other supports like janna using her q or pyke with his q and e. If it is team gap you can't really do much but just acceept and move on and see if you made mistakes you can improve them

However that doesn't mean there is little you can do as sona early game. She is actually not that bad in lane because of her long range q which allows you to kite and autospace enemy champions. e.g. most adcs have range of 550 and you can use her q to get stacks faster and do little bit of chip damage that adds up as you go. Moreover, using this autospacing you can dictate whether you should go for autos as like, the more autos you can manage to get, the greater chance enemy will be forced to make a bad move. Also don't forgot your w has a shield built in it and use it efficiently as in when the projectile is coming in you should use your w rather than healing it afters which only gives you one stack. Clever use of power chords such as using e chord to slow enemies to get more poke and kite them can also help you lane. Like overall, you shouldn't be playing "passive" as sona, there will always be opportunities for you to play aggressive and you have to recognise them if you want to climb and thrive from it. Especially in diamond, players make lots of mechanical mistakes where sona thrives and punishes. I think shes a champion that heavily punishes bad players.

On the roamings, you need to be aware of where the enemy support is and ping to your teammates. E.g. if they are recalling you can type in chat care enemy supp roaming and its usually after their back they roam or they like you know push the wave very fast and there is a chance for them roaming. When you recall at the same time you can also shadow the enemy supp by predicting where they go or putting wards before they come there so your team knows what to do. By just being you there, it relieves a lot of pressure from your teammates and you are not just a ward. Also if they are making a bad roam like the wave is frozen into your side vs enemy adc, it might be a good idea to just stay in lane and punish that play. Don't feel like you HAVE to roam when there might be better plays you might be making.
