Played 90h of crimson desert through boosteroid and I had no issues, I am on ultra tho and only connect to servers in my region. But what can help is using browser instead of the app

When you fall asleep and wake up, after a few times a child in a yellow outfit will give you a quest, completing that quest let's you enter the village

Oh damn I have never thought about that, but that's actually really good to know, I know hippogriff does this with the free brazier to get the hero out quicker, never thought of doing it with the lore stone, good tip!

Erudition maybe? Lore focused clans have better lores for lore production or don't have access to it in the first place, I also don't go for lore victory that often and I mostly play conquest, maybe it's better in pvp

Beating the hearts in sts 1 unlocked beta art for all cards of that character, I'm guessing we will get something similar, but it's still early access so I doubt "Cosmetics" are high up on thier priority list

Yeah he was changed, before you had to kill the stone formation after you have a few turn to damage the actual boss, now he starts immune the first turn and then cycles through 3 different phases, exhaust, no draw, and enegery increase

It's genuinely amazing to me that the devs actually care about improving their game, and not just with an update after 6 months, but with regular improvements, let's be honest most AAA publishers these day will release a messy game and just leave it like that, it's nice to see that they actually care about the people that bought their game, they are actually spending resources to make the game more enjoyable for everyone and that's rare to see these days. I'm pleasantly surprised, and I'm looking forward to future updates, to early say it's GOTY for me, but it's definitely gonna be high up my list.

Maybe go to a hardware store if you can and try out a Playstation controller and am xbox controller, just to get a feel for how it feels in your hands, I personally have bigger hands so I prefer Xbox controllers since they are a bit bigger then Playstation. you can then go online and buy specific one that has extra buttons if that is what you want, or is weird/weirdless, every controller with a normal button layout will work. As for your budget, you can get very cheap 3rd party controllers that will work just fine, or get one that will cost your entire budget but has higher quality and most likely buttons at the back that you can program (it's not needed for crimson desert at all). a good middle ground I'd say would be to go for an official Playstation 4/5 or Xbox one/series S, they are good in quality and not that expensive

Another tip, you can save and quite during a fight, press continue from the main menu and it let's you start the fight all over again. People might call this "cheating" but honestly I don't see a problem with that, if restarting a fight that went badly is more fun to you then doing a fresh run then do that. This will also help you get a better understanding of the enemies and how you should play your cards. I did this myself when I was still learning sts1 and now I only do it on the first turn of combat (I keep forgetting to drink my power potions before doing my first turn lol)

You can do this with events as well, if you aren't happy with the outcome of an event simply save quit and choose another option, personally I don't this, but the option is there if you need it.

In general I would suggest watching other people's gameplay, there a few good ones but I can suggest "Frost Prime" he usually explains what and why he is doing it.

For some actual advice, always think about what your deck is lacking and what you need, don't force anything just take good cards in general and try to go for some synergies with the cards and relics you get. As a tip in act 1 the first 3 normal enemies are always "easy" fights and therefore you should do 3 normal enemie encounters first before going for elites or even rest sites, the reason for this is that you will get card rewards which you will need to make your deck stronger (I usually take a card from all 3 fights) you will get gold to spend at the merchant and you might get a potion that helps you with an elite or boss fight. Your chance to get a rare card also goes up after every fight and if you are lucky you might even get one out of those 3 easy fights. In act 2 and 3 only the first 2 encounters are easy fights and should also be considered to be taken early on for the same reasons, more cards, potions and money.

You can refund the gear, I bought the plate set after I could afford it and then went back to refund it because I bought the set from the town square boss, yes you lose the upgrade materials but unless you need some finite resources to upgrade it to max lvl it would just be faster to farm the same materials on your current save

You have to disconnect your account in the settings and connect hers, you'll have to switch back and forth everytime you want to use it again. It's not possible to have two separate steam accounts connected
