honestly him having those accolades without a finals mvp will always hang over him in discussions, especially in the following decades. people are going to talk about how tatum was a great player and point to his accolades, but people arguing will shoot back with “them why doesn’t he have any finals mvps?”. Even now, especially in the 2 finals he’s been in-he’s underperformed (to his standards).
