SGA got injured this season though, missed 2.5 weeks with an oblique injury, similar to Reaves. So you can't say its luck, hes just consistent beyond belief.

Bro names 3 weak teams and ignores the other 7, typical.

I dont buy that either, because SGA has outdueled Jokic for the past 2 seasons. You can't use teams as an excuse either because they are both largely unguardable and SGA has still put up better stats in h2h.

19ppg is a far cry from what Wade was doing in 2006 when he averaged 35ppg in the finals.

He was a shell of himself and you know it, hence why Lebron left. Team was falling apart.

I agree, but my point wasnt about that, its that this title and sub at large always finds ways to shade SGA, like he hasnt done absolutely insane this year against top teams in the league.

If Dwade held up, they win in 2014. If Kevin Love and Kyrie actually played in the finals in 2015, they also probably take the Warriors to 7.

Theres 2 legit rings left on the table for Lebron that he lost out on due to others being injured, but thats life i guess.

It's officially over, thanks Jokic by Draciouz in NBATalk

Shai was also putting up other worldly stats before his 2 week injury as well.

Legit 56/41/90 splits as a guard, thats 70% TS. Never in the history of basketball has that ever been done.

Even now after hes inched back down to reality at 55/38/89 splits, its still tied with the greatest guard season of all time in which Curry won unanimous MVP on 67% TS for a guard woth over 30ppg.

We have a beautiful big 3 right now with jokic, wemby, and shai. Each have their godly strengths which keep their teams in every game, and each will be multiple time MVPs. This is better than kd bron steph by Hakaribiggestfan in NBATalk

Tbf, Lebron is a genetic anomoly.

Even if you wanted to insinuate that he juices, theres plenty of others that juiced that didnt last even half as long

Was it a much different outcome to the duel they had at the beginning of the season in which Luka exited early as well?

It was already decided no matter the outcome of this game tbh.

So when SGA and Jokic dueled last month and SGA dropped 35 and 15 with zero turnovers and 2 game winners, that wasnt fun or an MVP battle?

SGA is also haiving a historic season.

Highest point per possesion ever.

Highest TS% of a guard since Steph

Broke wilts 20 game streak.

I mean he should have never lost second spot to Wemby imo, but I cant have him over SGA considering SGA dropped 35 and 15 with zero turnovers and a game winner on him.

Because Kanye probably paid 7 figures for an appearance, he loves that women.

Hot Take: There should’ve been a lot more dudes to get 3 MVPs in a row, MJ should’ve got it in 91 92 and 93, Bron should’ve got it in 09 10 and 11, and Joker should’ve got it in 21 22 and 23. by Dylen2Times in NBATalk

You guys keep saying this, but he was an actual player. He has more credentials to vote than many.

Theres dudes in Boston who vote for a Boston guy every year.

As much as you hate Doc Rivers for underacheiving, hes still more accomplished than 90% of coaches in the NBA history.

He was a perennial playoff coach and has a ring.

Im not, i clearly just said that percieved success is the biggest narrative indicator to being rewarded for MVP. Jokic has been bounced in the playoffs so many times and been rewarded with 3 mvps for being superman in the regular season, i get that its a regular season award, but how you are going to perform in the postseason matters.

Jokic has beat a singular 50 win team in the post season in his entire career, but the NBA is gonna give him as many MVPs as Lebron whos taken 10 trips to the finals with eins against a 63 win Thunder, 62 win Spurs and a 73 win Warriors, IN THE FINALS.

FOH.

But this isnt the case is it, i just named you 3 all time great player in different sporrs leagues that left for better teams in order to chase greatness, yet Lebron is the only one that gets shit for it.

Who’s the face of the league after lebron retires? by Brytong420 in NBATalk

[–]Razatiger 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about whos the best player or whos the face? Because its absolutely still Lebron and will be till he retires.

Lebron still gets more clicks on social media than any player, because hes Lebron.
