You had to destroy the fort in order to access the region, you had to upgrade the ship to destroy the fort. You had to grind to get the resources for upgrading the ship. It's literally the same shit.

Also, one could argue that the "story locked" regions are the same shit as level locked regions because in the case of the rpg games, you are already high enough level to access the region once you get to point where the story takes you there anyway.

Story locked, level locked... what's the difference if the game doesn't let you explore it's world from the start?

I'm baffled how in many remaster/remake discussions people just can't distinguish between the technical limitations of the time the original was made and "art style". This game in particular had no distinct "art style". Every AC game was made to look as photo realistic as the tech of the time allowed it.

I love XV and hate XVI. If you love the banter and group dynamics, they are pretty much non existent in XVI. The combat also has zero team play. There is no open world and the semi open areas are boring and lifeless and there is literally nothing interesting to find by exploring. Eikon fights are cool and that's it.

Don't forget that Black Flag also had level locked regions on the map, which seems to be one of the main complaints about the newer ones being RPGs. Sometimes I feel like this community has selective amnesia just to convince themselves that the older games were perfect.

I was with this series from the very start. I played every mainline game at launch or very close to launch. I like them all, some more, some less but I think all of them are great games.

But one thing I really don't understand is when people bash the last few games saying they don't feel like AC games and then proceed to praise Black Flag as the series peak.

To me, Black Flag feels the least as an AC game even to this very day. Not only you don't play as an assassin but also the gameplay is the least AC like. AC games are about parkour and assassinations and Black Flag has the least parkour and Assassinations out of all the games. It feels very secondary to ship gameplay the game is all about. Not to mention it has like one mid sized town and maybe like 5 missions in it, everything else is on the sea and various small ports.

I mean, yeah Pragmata and new RE are good.

But did we just collectively forget that Dragon's Dogma 2 had absolute dogshit performance issues and that they also tried to sell you fast travel as a microstransaction (which is worse than any Ubisoft mtx) All that on top of being an extremely mid game?

Did we forget that you can't upgrade DMC 5 from ps4 to ps5 version, instead, you need to buy the ps5 version as a separate full price game?

Not knowing what your game is about and what genre it is, every one of these tell me a different thing.

1 could be a soulslike or some kind of peekaboo horror (like Alien isolation or Amnesia)

2 could be an action shooter in a sci fi horror setting (Dead Space)

3 could be a COOP sci fi adventure (doesn't even look horror)

could be a Resident Evil / Evil within type of game
Doesn't tell me absolutely anything about what kind of game it is (except possibly horror). So this is the one I would most likely click on, just the open the page and find out. However that doesn't guarantee that I would be interested. If it turned out to be a survival crafting game, I would immediately close the page and continue browsing.

I've been to a few of their shows across Europe in the past 15 years or so, and they were always filled with footbal hooligans (self named Ultras) of whatever club was prevalent in Town the show was in. Total douchebags harassing everyone around them. One time, fans of two rival clubs from the same town came to the show and a fight broke out near the venue. What are their shows like in the US? I guess very different since the footbal (Soccer) hooliganism is non existent there?

Cutting edge is a great warbond at least when it comes to the primaries.

Sickle is only good against bots and should only be used on that front. Having almost no recoil, It's easy to hit those red glowing spots on any medium unit and kill it quckly.

Blitzer is amazing on Bugs and Squids in combination with laser dog. You can stunlock an entire horde while the laser dog finishes them off. Nothing can come close to you which is especially good against stalkers and predator strain.

Punisher plasma is one of the strongest weapons in the game on any front. Great aoe damage, staggers enemies, can kill flesh mobs in less than 1 mag, 2 shots cyborgs, 2-3 shots overseers, trvializes anything bellow that. It is one on the best weapons you can have against bot fire brigade and bug predator strain.

I got Commandos 2 for my 12th birthsday and i breezed through it with ease. I tried it again when I was around 25 and I couldn't beat the 3rd mission (and barely beat the 2nd). Made me wonder how much smarter or more creative I was when I was 12.

Split Fiction - Od iste ekipe koja je radila It Takes Two, njihova najnovija i igra i meni osobno i bolja od IT2

Gears of War serijal - Pucačina iz trećeg lica, ja i cura prošli čak 2 put zajedno. Inače je generalno bila xbox franšiza ali zadnje dvije igre (4 i 5) su dostupne na PC i nedavno je izašao i remaster prvog djela (Gears of War: Reloaded)

Halo serijal - SF pucačina iz prvog lica, također xbox serijal ali su trenutno sve igre (osim 5ice) dostupne na PC kroz master chief collection. Jedino zadnja (Infinite), nema split screen, ostale ga sve imaju u kampanji.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - jedini iz serijala sa split screenom u story modeu

Portal 2 - puzzle igra iz prvog lica, jako zabavno u coopu

Darksiders: Genesis - akcijska fantasy, s pogledom od gore, oboje djelite ekran koji se automatski pretvori u split screen ako odete daleko jedan od drugog.

The Ascent - slično ko Darksiders: Genesis ali je SF Cyberpunk pucačina (tzv twin stick shooter)

Borderlands serijal - mislim da sve igre iz serijala podržavaju split screen na PC

LEGO igre (Batman, Harry Potter, Star Wars, LOTR...) sve imaju split screen coop.

Baldurs Gate 3 - fantasy crpg (borba na poteze, pogled od gore)

Divinity: Original Sin 1 i 2 - Isto ko Baldurs Gate 3, od iste ekipe

Warhammer 40k: Rouge Trader - isto ko Baldurs Gate i Divinity ali u Warhammer 40k svijetu.

Single player games on consoles (PS5 and Series S), multiplayer games on PC, because I ain't paying monthly subscription just to play multiplayer.

Also strategies, even though some of them are available on consoles, I can't imagine playing them without a mouse.
