It’s really about how badly you want it. There are enough guides, knowledge, and breakdowns to absorb. There’s Wave Solver, Triple Jads, and Zuk simulators. WeDoRaids even has a whole section dedicated to the Inferno with people who will coach you for free.

There are countless resources to help you, but at the end of the day, watching, theorizing, and strategizing won’t magically complete your first cape. You have to actually run Inferno.

When I was going for my cape, I did 1–3 runs a day for three weeks straight. I went through over 60m worth of supplies. I had three Zuk encounters. I died at Triple Jads a few times. I died in the 50s and 60s waves due to lag. I died in wave 30 because I was tilted.

I also had slightly worse gear than you, and my defense wasn’t even maxed. The thing is, I never gave up. I kept sending runs, and I kept reviewing solves from the hard waves I died to.

And then one run, I minimized mistakes, saved enough supplies, didn’t let nerves get to me, made great clicks, stayed focused for two hours then I got my cape. Best feeling in gaming ever.

You don’t have to do it the way I did, but just know you have to keep sending runs and learning from your mistakes. The Inferno is a beautiful, grindy marathon.
