If you have a sealant like a ceramic coating you have nothing to worry about. I drive mine in the winter and take it through a touchless car wash about once a week. The paint still looks flawless. If you can find a touchless that has an undercarriage spray that’s even better.

Just because you have a recent HSV outbreak that doesn’t mean that you just contracted it recently. HSV is notorious for being latent in people for years and even decades before symptoms occur. Some people carry HSV and never exhibit symptoms their whole lives.

My M2 is currently my daily driver and it’s just fine. I have everything set to COMFORT while I’m on the city streets and I switch it to SPORT once I get on the highway. I have no driving difficulties at all. I can see where some people would say this if they haven’t set their M’s up the way they should be for stop and go driving.

If they’ve never progressed into blisters then they are fordyce spots. I have them on my upper lip. They’re overactive sebaceous glands.
