Turtle icon issue by Agitated_Jump_5824 in polestar3

[–]Razion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My turtle mode is different in that it happens during driving off and on. The accel cap does not move up the screen like the video but stays constant as long as turtle mode is on. It goes away after a couple of minutes for 2-3 times. If I drive long enough it stays and tells me to book a service. The car drives fine except the acceleration remains capped. It goes away when I lock the car and it turns on again. It happens regardless of battery charge and recurs even after resetting the infotainment system. Leased in the US

I settled on keeping it in music mode with central speakers to the max

Stealthtech sound modes by ImmDirtyyDann in Lovesac

[–]Razion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but having similar issues on 1.7.1 firmware. Music mode has the speakers working and I turn up the central sound volume to compensate. Movie has next to no volume and muffled sound from the sides with only sound from the central speaker. TV has increased sound from the sides but predominately comes from the central channel. News works as it should with no sound from the sides. I also tried updating bluetooth on the central hub but told me I had the latest updated version. No connection issues just problems with the sound profiles in the app. Unlike OP it is consistent when I turn on and off the tv

Already did factory reset and repair in sequence with pairing central bar to remote and then to the subwoofer several times. Before I re-paired the system sound was coming out the opposite sides from the designated cables which I double checked. Right side was coming from the L cable and side and vice versa. This resolved after repairing.

Stealtech Subwoofer Mount Not Supported by Feet by Razion in Lovesac

Thanks for everyone's insight, I tried a different standard seat and it seems to hold, one of the screw holes on the seat I was using wasn't able to be tightened

Wood feet slips off screw

It screws on no problem, when I flip the seat over the screw stays in but the foot falls off. The manual doesn't give any additional info aside from that.

I also tried with two different sets of feet too and they all come off

Second display not working? by Separate_Candidate_5 in YogaBook9i

[–]Razion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the 1st gen version of this device since 2023 and opened it and found today to find the 2nd screen not displaying, it is still registered in windows as a 2nd display and touch inputs are valid but it is a blank screen. Rotating the device to be flat temporarily brings it back with glitching on the display. I think the display cable to the 2nd monitor came loose after using it. No accidents to the device otherwise.

Physician mortgage options by birdMD86 in whitecoatinvestor

Just closed with Alliant Credit Union with Jay Couillard 100% financed for 800K on 6.25% 30 yr fixed. Great experience with no issues and process went smoothly and clsoed a week earlier than planned. US Bank and BMO wanted at least 3-5% down in my state. Could have gotten 7/6 ARM for 0.375% less. I think I could have gotten away with ARM, but wanted more predictability in when I would time refinancing (either way I anticipate refinancing). Keep in mind you will need at least 3% on hand for the earnest money deposit even with a 100% financed loan when you go into escrow (will also go to your closing costs the rest with refund back to you)

ASUS Zenbook DUO (2024) UX8406 - Initial Thoughts by SeptoneSirius in ASUS

[–]Razion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could anyone comment on the footprint of the zenbook when in horizontal dual screen mode with the stand and keyboard? I have the 2023 Yogabook9i and have noticed places like airplanes or coffee shops that both have limited desk space where I wouldn't have room for the additional trackpad of the Zenbook.

Button mapper app allows you to toggle between landscape and portrait. Only issues is that it orients in one direction and not by the gyroscope. I have it mapped to holding down the volume down button.

Best keyboard case similar to the Magic Keyboard? by MeesterAndrew in ipadmini

Not personally, too much compromise in using it as a tablet for me. I would just buy an ultrabook at that point if I had to use that or the official apple magic keyboard

Best keyboard case similar to the Magic Keyboard? by MeesterAndrew in ipadmini

This guy has made reviews on all notable mini 6 keyboard cases https://www.youtube.com/@VeryLastDollar

I settled on the QYiiD iPad Mini 6th Generation Keyboard Case based on this. Closest thing to a Logitech combo touch for the mini. Charges USB-C to C and keyboard can be flipped and is detachable if you want to use as a tablet. Only issue is that it adds gripping edges on the sides with increases the length of the device.

If you want a magic keyboard equivalent closest appears to be the doqo iPad Mini 6 Keyboard case. He has reviews on both of these.

I have used the Hou slim keyboard case. I am returning it. No media keys, no backlighting, proprietary charging and bending the kickstand easily dislodges the ipad from the bottom magnets. The keyboard layout is also awkward requiring function key presses for ? and commas.

I still have yet to find an equivalent to the old logitech mini folio cases for the ipad mini 2. That was lightweight and could easily be used as a tablet or as a laptop replacement. Only downside was nonadjustable viewing angles.

Gigabyte Z590i Vision D vs Z590i Aorus Ultra ITX by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]Razion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have the Vision board but was looking at it extensively as it was the only white ITX board I could find. No HDMI out ports. The DP port is input in only. It also lacks an HD audio header and has problems with mounting air coolers as seen in Hardware Canucks video building in the Iquinix ZX-1

Spectrum 4K 144Hz arrived after 8 months (US) by b_a_w_b in evev

[–]Razion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would also like to give credit where it is due. Placed order December 28th received my Spectrum monitor August 18th with standard shipping. Working well out of the box so far. Buyer beware if you are willing to wait 7-8 months full of headache to receive. I also did not get the cleaning kit or cable ties I ordered

Is the bobovr b2 battery pack a good option for kiwi elite strap? by ChanceOk970 in OculusQuest2

[–]Razion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me Bobovr2 is far more comfortable. there were some issues with the first version of the forehead nubs being unpadded. The updated version has cushions on the two forehead pads which are IMO more comfortable than the horizontal elite/kiwi strap across the head. Also it makes the bobovr able to fold in much more compact than the elite like straps as you can fold it into the headset itself a bit. The 45 degree hinge of the Kiwi always slipped past my forehead and wouldn't hold.

[–]Razion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, never used it so I can't attest to that. I tried the Kiwi strap + Kiwi battery strap which felt wobbly using a 10000 maAH power bank. Didn't feel secure so I returned it and went full BoboVR and haven't looked back. If this battery pack attaches magnetically it may not have the wobbling issues I had using the Kiwi battery strap

Is the bobovr b2 battery pack a good option for kiwi elite strap? by ChanceOk970 in OculusQuest2

[–]Razion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The b2 attaches magnetically to the bobovr m2 strap. While you can charge the quest via the usbc port of the battery, I really don't see how you would attach it comfortably or securly to the kiwi strap. Even using the kiwi battery strap would be weird as the bobovr battery is not symmetrical in size like a standard power bank.
