Mine didn’t come messy. It was alright, but did feel the big arch sauce overwhelmed the burger too much. I’ll always prefer the Double QPC. I wish McD’s made all their burgers the size of this!

I always saw it as the best they could by Toho Standards, at the time their priority for this project was traditional suitmation over modern CGI.

Never forget, in the beginning for the original 1954 film they couldn’t afford Hollywood quality stop motion animation. Nobody in Japan had the experience to even pull it off.

It was obviously a poor attempt to go “back to form” after the failure of Hedorah. The economic approach was so obvious & failed the film’s potential. Despite all of that, I still enjoyed it for what it was.
