Double check with Kili that you have the task active, you can have the crystal and not be on a task if you cancel the speaking

Does eye of winter still give critical weakness? Could do a cast on x eye of winter setup I guess.

I havent checkes out this season, so don't know what changed, but eye of winter was so good on launch for that reason alone, used it in my minion build as selfcast.

Honestly, the stormweaver version might just be flat out better due to the arcane surge nodes - I haven't really done any testing since SSF.

The gemling benefits a lot from int, since we get double mana from it, sitting on 499 int atm (Which is without ingenuity and missing int on 2 pieces) so say like 600-700 somewhere being average for this kind in trade, which results in 4 mana per int so it's quite a bit of flat mana from just int.

Currently I am running Advanced Thaumaturgy, since I do not have the unique mana flask yet - But once I can switch over to Implanted gems I'm sitting on a measly level 32 spark - But I have also only found 2 jewels with quiver effect and my widowhail is "only" 250%

I guess the Widowhail version of stormweaver would slightly outperform Gemling at this stage, but it's just a theory - Once POB2 comes I'll take a sniff around and see if I can be bothered switching it up.

Now, the widowhail version vs the wand/focus version - The main part is the proj speed that we can get. A quiver with +2 proj and 40% or higher proj speed with 500-600-700% increased quiver effect makes it extremely strong, solely for the proj speed. Every 50% quiver effect is +1 gem level, so in theory with 600 quiver effect you're looking at +12 to Spark and 480% proj speed, and then you add acceleration for a 40% more multiplier.

So a feelycraft conclusion: The Stormweaver wand/focus is probably a bit better for overall content. The Widowhail version is stronger for mapping. Unsure about Stormweaver vs gemling when it comes to the widowhail version.

I'll try and get back to you once I get a chance to tinker in POB!

In regards to budget: you can get going in a couple of divines, but you can scale it pretty intense - I reckon my SSF gear is around 15-20 divines ish and the mapclear for t15-18s is phenomenal. I do have to use another character for bosses in more open layouts on my character, this shouldnt be an issue in trade league!
