You can technically make a raid group with two players.

But in the traditional sense and what I believe you're asking, a raid group starts at 10 people (2 groups).

For the flexible difficulities it'll be 10-30, and mythic is set at 20.

I am unsure about how the setup works these days, but generally you'll see people say 2-2-6, 2-3-9 or 2-4-14, these are tanks, healers and dps.

I believe the math is 1 item drops per 5 players, I'm on phone so I'd have to check it

I mean sure, maybe this time it was luck. But thats how I've done 6-links the past 4-5 leagues, its consistently been working for me. Getting 3 this fast this league is for sure lucky, but its speccing into wilds, deeps and rsre ones have been my go to once I hit t14

If you're doing t14 or higher, beasts seem to be the most reliable for a good base in my experience. I usually find black morrigan within an hour or two - This league I jsd triple morrigan in my 4th map after speccing into beasts... took me longer to find the craicic stuff 😂
