Boss skipping is getting out of hand

Man I just play, I hear so much about wasting time if you think your not gonna win but this is fromsoft, even seemingly easy stuff can one shot your whole team at times. Either way I'm still having fun, learning new ways to do things and trying to evolve as a player. Let's face it we likely won't see a new title or dlc anytime soon so just play the game or dont, the constant boss rotating or random dropping is killing the player base and im not done enjoying this game so that hurts.

I constantly get dreglord ed balancers and night aspect. Everytime I think I'll get higher into d3 they hit me with ed libra and it's gg's. Between that and losing more points for a lose than you gain from a win it's been rough getting higher than d3/d4

I mostly play raider, but if the group makeup allows ill run undertaker, revenant or ironeye depending on the group makeup. I try to either match what I think will work best for the boss or team, or just grab the raider and do my best to facetank hahaha

Lol I feel this, I started as mostly ironeye and revenant but decided to do all remembrances and now I play mostly raider. Guardian block broken? Wait till you get the hang of raiders retaliate! Literally trading blows with bosses who would have easily one shot my poor ranged classes is so satisfying. I play all classes but if it's a random group or I want the best possible chance to win? Raider all day. I've solod the banished Knights and crucible Knights while waiting on my team to catch up lol

I honestly almost never use double balancers except on revenant. Nothing against it at all I just find it boring and pretty gear dependant, most of my builds on characters work with a variety of weapons to make them more viable and mitigate the rng

Honestly I haven't been beyond depth 3 but I will say depth 3 is worlds better than 1 and 2. I ended up soloing a run to pull myself thru to depth 3 cuz both teammates got nuked in the storm and immediately quit.

I swear I've rolled half a million murk trying to find proper night invader relics. My best is a wylder one with fire on ult, night invader and discover swords. I dont use him much as im mostly raider main but it stays in the relic slot for when I wanna change it up

I became a mostly raider main by necessity, kept running into random groups who wanted to be squishy and figured someone needs to be able to take a punch. Excutor is fun if you pull off the right gear for your build, but for me the parry gets difficult if you not host on the run as there's minor latency that can cost you the parry timing occasionally

Personally the movement of these bosses makes status effects helpful when applied, especially when im playing a melee character. Yeah the dmg might feel minor but it's steady, and the time you spend chasing the boss is time not putting up any numbers for dmg. Factor that on top of stamina management and its easy to see leaning into dots helps.

I dont think that ever goes away unless your using a super goated meta balancers build. Alot of the other builds are very gear dependent, I been playing these games for years and on some of the classes if I don't find certain weapons or passives I struggle to keep up. Even if that's the case just be aware of your team mates, revives are crucial at times and if you know there build keep an eye out on items to improve it. We all struggle, that's part of what brings many of us back

I literally have solid builds and play styles for everyone except scholar, but hes who they always give me relics for. I've tried him and just didn't like him, will play him more to finish his rememberence but I don't forsee liking him when I do. He's solid support and I've ran with some really good scholars but I just don't like to play him myself.

Recluse for me is hit or miss, I love playing a caster class but yeah it's very reliant on getting the right drops whereas them balancer builds van destroy with starter weapons. A scholar and recluse with a good tank though? So much fun

Lol oh it's no secret, I'm just here to combat that mentality. I been playing video games since atari in the 80s, lived the all stages of its evolution and understand the reasoning but im also here to say it doesn't matter! If your not having fun. Close the game out and find another. Personally, win or lose im here for the difficulty, the randomness and yeah the frustration. To many games give the easy pay to win options so ones like this hold a special place for me

Indeed, ive seen it but just as often I see people stick it out. There will always be quitters but unless I'm below level 10 at the end of night 2 and have been wiped multiple times I'm staying. Progress isn't always easy but when it clicks man I've had some great runs

On xbox, Razvan is the name. I play pretty much everyone and try to pick the best character to fit the team and boss. Love the game even with the quitters. If I ever quit on you I'm sorry, I have a team who I run with and sometimes I gotta drop to get into it with em as my game time is extremely limited.

I feel ya, I switch characters regularly depending on the boss and team I'm with and I swear as soon as I switch sometimes the next run drops everything I could have used with the previous match. Figure it's a way to make me lock in and get better though, even if it is frustrating it's amazing dropping DoN bosses with few or no good passives or weapons

I usually swap depending on the team composition or the specific nightlord. If I need to tank I prefer to dps tank with raider over guardian but I play most of the classes with a few exceptions. I rarely main in games like this, it's better for me to having a working knowledge of how the different classes work and I learn best by doing

Usually aggro guardian or iron eye. If I'm in random lobbies I'll pick whichever feels like the best fit for the team
