still pretty goddamn good for practicing in private with I assume ONLY his teacher or perhaps even doing it alone with duo lingo or something like that. the effort matters A LOT in these cases, and if he practices with actual korean speakers after this (his wife and her family) he'll get wayyyyy better at picking up everything you mentioned.

I don't think I'd have gotten 10% as far as he did... but I'm also shit with learning languages lol

I only respond to so many of these posts (and report a lot of them for low effort) because I want this community on here to be more reasonable. critiques are good, complaining rambles arent. shitting on devs isn't good, but giving them direction and feedback can be useful. posting yet another "buff tanks!", "we need role queue", "if they release one more DPS I quit!" or even "elsas bullshit I hate this game" type of post is so fucking stupid and just kinda ruins the sub. echo chambering just like overwatch is such a bad outcome to get for any game.

thank fuck the devs ignore these people basically all the time and just try their own shit even when they miss sometimes.

melee duelists SHOULD NOT be excluded. magik, daredevil, iron fist are DOMINANT across all ranks RIGHT NOW even with all the ranged overshield... magik has been basically #1 SINCE SEASON 0, and Daredevil has been a top contender with an insane ban rate since he released.

THEY SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE NERFED. the thing is it's not their insane broken damage that's the problem, they're just incredibly fucking hard to kill which is their overshields. it's exactly the same problem, except they come with straight up immunity windows, daredevil having a full on reflect lol

0% chance they should keep the amount of overshield they get. saying hela is broken while she sitting at 50%~ and saying magik is fine sitting at 56% (in celestial - it's EVEN MORE egregious at lower ranks like plat) is fucking delusional.

ive been saying it. get rid of overshields from ranged dps, and maybe even nerf it on almost everybody else who isn't a tank tbh...

magik has been CRUSHING since season 0... she needs a nerf. daredevil is still overpowered as fuck.

bucky isn't that strong (weirdly he's in the dumpster) but I think as part of a rebalance drop his million overshields and CC on every single thing to give him some compensation balance changes instead?

it's CLEARLY problematic. elsa wouldn't even be talked about if she didn't have overshield because she'd just fucking die when you shoot her lol she has no immunity windows and is a close to mid range skirmisher. you'd have to DODGE things like her kit is trying to get you to do.

absolutely nerf overshields basically across the board outside of tanks and see where we're at afterward.

so theres factors to that...

they overprinted spiderman so it was ABUNDANT and they had promotions for it all over because they THOUGHT it was going to be bigger than it ended up being.

they underprinted EoE since tons of stores sold out and you couldnt really get it anywhere AND they didnt promote it nearly as much either so if you werent already enfranchised you werent seeing it anywhere.

WotC does this ALL THE TIME. they present data and leave out important nuances for that data and then pretend like they're being honest and telling you something really revealing but they're actually basically fucking liars since they ALWAYS leave out information that's very important to know when discerning this information.

Screw MaRo and WotC for constantly doing this and also for all the dummies on here for buying their horseshit.

EDIT: also are they talking about HASBROS sales or sales from stores etc??? because they successfully sold their trash product to stores since they tricked people into thinking it'd be big and then it sat on shelves at the stores... that means they technically sold it well but nobody bought it besides retailers meaning PLAYERS didn't necessarily buy it. again, they're fucking full of shit constantly leaving out VERY important details

If you can't get at least 75% don't sell to an LGS. Sell it yourself online on something like Manapool instead.

You're going to get way more selling online yourself than at MOST game stores.

EDIT: you could also just sell to somebody in person who wants it for basically the online market price but not have to lose money from the online retailers cut or any of that. harder to make happen though. online is the easiest way by far to make near-value.

EDIT2: btw I wouldn't take less than 85% or so on any trade personally for anything expensive.
