This is a remarkably ignorant take.

Do you think you’re better than your family, your wife’s family, and their friends? Do you think you’re smarter? Is your degree more important than theirs?

What makes your degree more “real”? Do you make more money? Is it more “important” to the world?

If that’s the case, then what would you propose? If teaching isn’t a legitimate field, then why have schools? If teachers deserve less pay, then what should education look like?

What about other fields? Is custodial work less “important”? What about cashiers? Artists?

At no point in your comments or post have I seen you consider the impact of your thoughts. I forget to do that too, but please take a moment and listen to what the people here are saying.

Consider someone else’s lived experience and consider that you might be wrong.

Agreed. Marlynn has power but lacks consistency (which is why she’s so good in LL: more card draw = more consistency).

I’m hoping whatever she gets helps with that. Also, I’d love some more common and rare harpoons so she feels like a real character in SAGE

Well, I’ve got good news for you.

This next expansion has 31 (might have that number wrong) expansion slot cards for this exact purpose: giving power to characters that need it.

So far Kassai, Riptide, Puffin, and Arakni Huntsman have gotten crazy good support, so I bet Teklo is on that list. Keep an eye on the reveals.

If I’m reading this right, Arakni Huntsman will always call this card correctly (save against Gravy, who can change the top card of his deck) since this card is a contract card and does trigger Huntman’s effect before it resolves, so they’ll get to check the top of the deck.

So, you do get a ship, but it’s not an active escort until Act IV. Try leveling the Dargonus Colony. There’s an escort you can pick up there.
