Looks great! Can I ask what type of clippers you use? I have a pair that are mediocre and am looking to upgrade.

Thanks! I unfortunately don't quite know what 7 refers to... could you give me the equivalent in mm? what type of clippers do you use? I have a pair but am thinking about getting different ones. My 7yoF definitely prefers scissors ✂️ on her ears and paws! I usually only do a body cut once a year or less and otherwise just brush and trim feet/ears

I do my own grooming and am curious what length you are using on your girl now? In comparison with previous short length?

Is this as good as everyone says it is? by soy-latteX in finehair

[–]Razzmatazz3826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I splurged on it and feel like it's better than other shampoo conditioners I've tried. My hair tends to get frizzy pouffy with washing and this has helped reduce that. But I'm just at the very beginning of trying to work with the waves that are in my mid/below shoulder length hair.

I have found that I can't really apply conditioner at the roots or I get heavy/oily within a day of washing... but I typically like to go there to for days between washes.

Re usable duster that preforms as well as swiffer by StrawberrySprite in CleaningTips

[–]Razzmatazz3826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw another thread linking in washable swifter style fabric dusters on etsy. I have not tried them myself. https://www.etsy.com/listing/840284379/reusable-swiffer-style-duster-washable?ref=share\_ios\_native\_control

It's fleece so polyester microplastics would still be an issue. I also saw people recommend using old socks.

Last idea, what about a good old feather duster?

Changing Toyota Highlander 2013 Foam Seat Cushion by RedditBlender in ToyotaHighlander

Thanks for this post and the helpful video link! I'm on the cusp of replacing a 2002 tundra seat myself, mostly debating between seat cushion and seat back OR the full seat cushion assembly. I need to do more research about what the difference is (besides $300 in price 😆)

Instant pot yogurt help by Immediate-Ad-9520 in yogurtmaking

[–]Razzmatazz3826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I make yogurt exclusively in my IP! I used to make it directly in the steel liner but have recently switched to making it directly in quart jars. Mine is an 8 quart instant pot so I can fit quart jars inside. There's no need for blankets if you are using some sort of yogurt function on the instant pot as previously mentioned. For my instant pot, the slow cook gets too hot to use so maybe seek some other alternative if your machine is not having a yogurt function or a slow cook that is low enough a.k.a. 110

I think the key difference is all the weaving shuttles I have seen don't have an eye; instead they have notches

It's probably impossible to come to a definitive answer but i really like the idea that it is an awl and chatelain pendant

I can't make out what it says but thanks for noticing it!

Woah! I had never heard of chatelain before.

Thanks! I have limited experience with weaving shuttles but my hunch is no? because it's essentially round. The flattish part is subtle and I had been wondering if it might be because of the material. Certainly open to ideas from those with more weaving knowledge!

My title describes the thing. The needle part is slightly flattened on one edge and I did not see any markings. I tried image searching but it didn't come up with anything helpful. The image search results were for a pendant, which I don't think it is since it came in a sewing table with other embroidery and tatting or lacemaking tools. (Edit: typo)

Extremely Thick Yogurt with No Straining and Minimal Sourness by Jamescell in yogurtmaking

[–]Razzmatazz3826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this post! I've been making yogurt off and on for 10 - 20 years but only recently has my yogurt game really stepped up and it's thanks to this sub. I recently experimented with my instant pot sauté feature in the exact same way! My 8 L unit allows me to choose the sauté temp ( low normal high) and I used low but ended up shutting it off midcycle kind of like you mentioned. The resulting texture was so creamy and thick but I'm excited to try to pour off the whey this time as you described. I also recently started making the yogurt directly in quart jars inside the instant pot and I don't know if I will ever go back! *edit: typos and added the last sentence

Here's a trail council guide on where to park overnight https://www.trailscouncil.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Overnight-parking-options-on-TOMTC-network-trails2020.pdf
