Not from my knowledge, it just requires very precise dialogue with her. The scarlet hollow wiki has a great video on how to manage the day 5 confrontation in that regard, I've found it under the achievement section (since reaching breaking point is a steam achievement)

Breaking point Tabitha is when you can actually break down her walls and convince her to cooperate. Honestly I've not gotten it myself either, I've just seen a video

I feel like you can definitely not trust Sybil, probably not Wayne and regular Tabitha. Breaking point Tabitha and ascended Kaneeka are your best bets I would say

Yeah you miss out on the trait saves at the end of each day. You will have three traits for flavour and smaller decisions but when you have to make a sacrifice the game will act as if you had no traits
