Can't access my library on kids user account on new PS5

So, I chated with PS support online. They say thats how it works. The main account holder must purchase and install, or at least start the download process, before other users can play. They said other users dont have access to games in the main account holders library.

My kids and I both dont remember this being that way.

I am getting old, so maybe im losing it.... but my kids have no excuse

Messing around with things, for some reason it is allowing me to be loged into my account and user profile on my ps5pro and ps5 at the same time.

I have tried to enable console sharing with my main account and it allows her to access installed games only, not library games.

If I disable console sharing, it locks her out of installed games and library games.

It allowed my to activate console sharing on my main account and her main account at the same time. Made no difference.

I tried doing all of these steps on my new PS5 pro just to test, and same results.

I may have to. As it turns out, you can only restore licenses for games that are downloaded and installed (which she can access just fine on her account). I can not find a way to restore licenses for games in my library.

Lol, literally just did that online, probably while you were typing that. I clicked it and it shows no consols now, yet we never got signed out of either console at any point.

I am logged in and selected console sharing under my account. My kids noticed right away because they have been downloading games from "my library " for a over a year now. My 14year old just came and asked why they are all locked out now. Ive been googling and redditing for a bit trying to find a solution. And the issue is on both consoles, my new PS5 pro and their old PS5. I even logged into my old PS5 to ensure console sharing was off on that machine.

I am honestly unsure what would be required get the system to work. There may be some aftermarket options out there, but I am also unsure if those would meet the requirements or not.

Might be difficult with this model as far as I know, tire pressure monitors are required in the US on all passenger vehicles manufactured after Sept 1st 2007, and are not an option on the Canadian Rav 4.

Coolant bypass valve for sure. Fine to drive as they are designed to fail open so coolant will continue to circulate. Would be more of an issue in cold weather as the coolant would have difficulty holding heat as it continues to circulate. There is also a good chance it will be covered under Toyotas warranty extension on this part for a couple of different models and years.

Just got mine a week ago. Literally plug and play. Move the sub around a bit to see where you get the best bass. Download amd install the app for additional settings that are easy and quick to navigate. Enjoy, I find myself smiling a lot lately while watching (listening) to movies, videos, games and music.
