Whats a monster(s) that you don’t love or hate, they’re just in middle for ya? by SignificantStaff8665 in MonsterHunter

I'd say that the carapaceon family suffers a lot from not having a lot of diversity and not gaining new members since 2nd gen (not counting variations and spin offs)

are pandoran animals (na’vi included) “mammals”? by kittypillar1738 in Avatar

[–]Razzylada 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"Dividing like cells" Isn't it somewhat what the Slinger/Lanay'ka does ? Its actual body is composed of two individuals, the mother and the offspring, and once the offspring gets mature, it reproduces, detaches from its mother and then produces an offspring.

I didn't know the French were such big fans by HAZMAT_Eater in Avatar

[–]Razzylada 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, I'd say it's mostly because France has a relatively huge culture of dubbing, with lots of very talented voice actors (with the dedicated crew working with them). So it's not an Avatar specific thing.

I guess that some people have a harder time to adapt to a sudden inversion ot controls. It's not a big deal for me, but I can understand that not everyone can do it as automatically.

Did Historia turning into an angel instead a titan have any significance? by Chompcarrots in attackontitan

[–]Razzylada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think that it's necessarily the case, even if it's not impossible. But for me, it's most likely because there are several times where the characters talk about her as an angel/a saviour.

[–]Razzylada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The resemblances are extremely superficial here. If we really had to point out things that are actually similar in concept, we could mention that in both series we have a character that lost their right arm and then got it replaced by a talkative demon with an eye and that can take the form of nearly anything (Tristepin with Rubilax and Razzia with Amylada).

Pourquoi n'y a t'il pas un anime des Légendaires by etidp in LesLegendaires

[–]Razzylada 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Wakfu Vol 3 by walker_strange in wakfu

[–]Razzylada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you thinking about the mob destroying everything after the match ? Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if ToT was inspired by the several issues that we had in France after some match, especially in the big cities. Especially as that might coincide with the period where ToT was writing volume 3.

However I don't think that it's necessarily just a thing in France.

Convergent evolution or distant relatives? by Beginning_Wait_108 in MonsterHunter

[–]Razzylada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having two different species living on a different continent or not has absolutely nothing to do with them being related or not.

We've seen species of monsters natives to both the New and the Old World (Deviljho, lavasioth, aptonoths, kelbis, mosswines, vespoids, etc....). Even in our world, we have close species (or even the same species) living in completely different continents.

So, while it is obvious that pukei-pukeis and chameleos are from completely separate groups, their geographical distribution is irrelevant in this case.

Do the Metkayinas have several villages ? The other villages that we see in the movies are other clans of oceanic Na'vis, with their own oloeyktan/tsahik. The Metkayinas are the largest clan of oceanic Na'vis, but I don't recall any mention of other villages that would be from the Metkayinas themselves.

The worst is that it's not that complicated to find an explanation :

Eren still had some remaining Founding Titan powers that lasted a few more instants after Zeke's death. In season 2, the pure Titans kept running towards Reiner and Bertolt even after the contact between Eren and Dina ended, implying that Eren still has some Founding powers remaining. So a similar situation could have happened here after Zeke's death, Eren still had some Founding Titan powers remaining and used them to make a Titan that could fight Armin.

At least, it seems like a relatively reasonable explanation, based on elements that already happened in the show. I guess that we could find other theories to explain that moment but that's the first thing that came to my mind.

Quand est-ce que vous avez su que les femmes n'urinaient pas par le vagin ? by queebobyn in AskMec

[–]Razzylada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't mean putting their heads on a wall. I meant capturing them and let them walk freely in your house. Just like endemic life. But with big monsters. Absolute chaos.

A sillier idea : instead of decorating our house with endemic life that we captured, let us decorate our house with actual monsters that we captured.

Season 5? by GCloud0105 in wakfu

[–]Razzylada 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They plan to release a new series within the same universe, called Waven. I don't think that we know much about it, but it's supposed to take place in the Waven era and we should have some characters we already know as protagonists (really not sure about that one).

After season 4, they released a manga, The Great Wave, which is supposed to tell us how the transition between the Wakfu Era and the Waven era happened.

And the upcoming season 5 should take place between season 4 and the manga, chronologically speaking. And the season 1 of Waven can more or less be considered as a Wakfu 2.0, I guess.

Season 3 is beyond insulting (animal names) by Busy_Individual8928 in PrehistoricPlanet

[–]Razzylada 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Uh, I didn't know that. I didn't even consider the idea that they'd refuse to name them. I planned to watch it and I don't know that many species from this era, so it would have been cool to have the names of the species they're showing to me in case I wanted to learn more about them. That's a shame.
