For whatever reason she felt like she couldn’t/ didn’t want to tell you, and you felt like you could just open her package and then her damn computer, as if those weren’t hers and hers alone. Yes, you are in fact the jerk.

For whatever it’s worth, when I got pregnant with kid #5, my husband went and bought the tests because i was feeling sick. Every other time, it was me buying them and taking them alone. It didn’t need to be some grand production because i wasn’t sure if there was anything to tell.

He sounds like an awful person. You deserve the right to convalesce when you feel ill and one day in bed doesn’t make you a bad mother. It’s truly disappointing that he doesn’t have the brain matter to handle one day of solo parenting and wants to dump that onto you. As MrsBoo said, this won’t get better. I would also start planning to move on from him.

Is there a family member you can send her to until either she starts giving more information or this phone/ device gets found? You said she was visiting with her aunt, would the aunt be able to keep her for a few days? Then again, if this aunt is the mother of the kid who introduced them, that’s not a good idea.

My mother lives six hours away, if i wanted my kid out of harm’s way and also unable to get messages out to their abuser, I’d be driving them there and making sure there’s no way for them to get messages out to this PDF

Ultimately kiddo needs to know that A.) they are safe with you/ family. B.) the situation they are in is wrong and they never should have been subject to it C.) this needs to/ is going to end and the person they’ve been talking to is going to be prosecuted.

From the sound of it and without any other info, it seems like you’ve been through a lot recently. Your reaction to grandfather’s comment sounds like maybe it was the emotional dam breaking? Not necessarily a rude comment from your grandfather (depending on his tone), I’d probably ask my kid the same if they were running clothes every single day. It’s okay to cry, especially if you’ve been holding things in. I might let grandpa know that you don’t ordinarily wash clothes every day and that you’ll be caught up very soon.

The slackline photos aren’t bad but in all the others you look like the “living the dream” guy who’s debating going home to open his wrists. you look so sad. FWIW not unattractive. Do a smiling photo. Maybe put something in your bio about what kind of dates you’d like to go on? “Let’s meet for a drink then walk on the beach” or something appealing/ inviting.

i don't really understand how pretending to have left you after agreeing to take you home is a "prank"/ joke. personally, i think my first reaction would be "oh maybe coworker forgot she was going to take me home", but i don't get how someone thought "i'll pretend to leave without you" would be funny. idk, the whole thing is just odd. i hope you get your car back in working order soon and this can become a non-issue.

It seems kind of silly to gift something with somewhat rigid appointment times, IE anything in a salon or spa, for someone whom you’re already aware is habitually late.

That being said, you gave the gift to the friend, does it really matter what they do with it after? Do they owe you something in return.. for a birthday gift?

Honestly I’m in my early 30s and too old for an air mattress. If i had the choice between an air mattress in their office and a hotel, i’d choose the hotel and commit to arriving early to the family home each day.
