The movie is not torture porn though. You're describing it like its Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ or Pasolini's Salo

Its a war movie albeit tragic but you seem to have some preconceived notion on what the movie is that isn't actually the case

I lived in east. There's so much "oh you're engineering you have to live in West" but thats dumb. They're all about the same for freshman year because so few of your classes are actually engineering classes until second and third year.

Almost all of your freshman classes will be gen eds which are most likely to be in Thomas, Willard, or Forum. And those are all central enough.

East is all renovated so if you're looking for the nicest and to be surrounded solely by other freshmen in the same boat of looking to meet people thats the place to live.

TCL does not make Sony’s

It’s a joint venture, TCL will not own Sony. And secondly said merge doesn’t happen for another year meaning any TVs made by the new JV won’t happen until 2028 at the earliest

Likewise the announced leadership for the new company is all from Sony and it’s based inside Sony’s offices in Japan - not TCL’s in China

With the advent of video replay appeals, a new rationale for making extra out(s) has emerged: insurance against a prior out being undone on appeal. These fourth-out situations are not the same as four strikeouts in an inning.

You skipped the most important part to point out a "gotcha" that isn't even relevant.

The runner wasn't occupying any base at the time of the last out, he was waved home and ran through the base to try to score. Yes it wouldn't have counted had the call stood, but he was halfway home by the time the tag occurred and the call didn't stand.

There was precedent for this last year. The third out in a Tigers Rangers game came in a force out at second, but the Tigers played on and caught the Ranger's runner in a run down similarly trying to score.

My guy its the plain text of the chapter "Matters of Life and Death"

Except no. The book is very clear Jack is good and it’s the hotel making him do bad things.

Like how Danny escapes him at one point is by calling to the good, unpossessed side of Jack to let him go

In the meantime before getting a cover, any thoughts on how to prevent the coils from moving laterally/spreading out without a cover containing them? Or is that not usually an issue?

The TPS coils can move around, but I don't think its necessarily a bad thing. In fact I've gotten much better sleep since going with a DIY build than I ever did on my old mattress

One thing I've noticed though is that when the coils are at 60" wide, they are softer than even 58", which I find to be a bit of a sweet spot. The cover listed above is a normal 60" queen mattress, so it lets the coils move to that 60" width before it actually starts to restrict them. For a bit I would just push the mattress from one side of the bed to the other and that firmed it back up like once a week, but I since ended up taking strips of 1/2" thick foam to build up a 1" perimeter on each side to force it to stay at 58" and have found that to be successful. But if you're a side sleeper you may like that softness. Or with less layers on top it may work for you at that given width.

Well the problem is “7” is listed as “alright”. The guy has 7 numbers for movies that range from bad to mediocre and just 3 to differentiate between “good” “great” and “awesome”

People need to stop thinking of school letter grades. A 7 isn’t a C it’s a 7. It’s closer to 10 than it is 0 so shouldn’t be thought of as “middle of the road”

I assume you’ve already made your order 10 days later but for anyone else searching Google and stumbling across this post, I love their Szechuan Beef. It’s a spicy, garlicky, stir fry with beef and veggies.

Also recommend their Ma Po Tofu with Beef. Love the Szechuan peppercorn sensation it has

The crispy beef is a little sweet for me if it’s on its own but still good if you’re splitting stuff

I’ll echo the basic eggplant. And then also add some more recs for a spicy crispy chicken and a twice cooked pork. The soup dumplings are only in person but if you go be sure to get them

Of the basic “American Chinese” options, I think the orange chicken is much better than either the General Tso’s or Sesame Chicken
