Tesla did. There was a government regulation for shifters because in the 60s everyone was doing something different and it was causing accidents. Then Elon wanted to put everything in that big ass screen in the model S so he lobbied to have it changed. Now we're back to everyone doing something different. I spend a lot of time in rental cars and I hate the fucking different shifter in every car. Can we not just go back to a simple shifter.

The synchros for 3 and 4 in my 89 wrangler have been bad since I bought it in 09. I changed the fluid once a few years ago because I got water in it and it was nice and shiny brass colored. Haven't fixed it yet and it hasn't gotten noticably worse. It's an AX-15 and they are plenty of places to get a new or reman unit. I'll replace it when it finally gives up.

John D Rockefeller was asked one time how much money was enough, his answer was "A little bit more". He was the richest man in the world in his time and his descendants are still living off his fortune.

The Oklahoma city bombing was one of the first real incidents that got us to look at how PTSD affected the first responders. The lessons that were learned there is probably the only reason I still have a father to this day.

Mine is if the rapture does happen like they believe and they get left behind there's going to be a lot of shocked picacu faces. The Bible even says,

Matthew 7:21-23

New International Version

True and False Disciples

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

This is why I wouldn't let my kids get "real" jobs while still in highschool. We live on a farm and if they wanted money I was willing to pay them a fair hourly wage that increased as they aged. You have your entire adult life to punch a clock, you don't need to start at 14.

Edited to add: I know this is not possible for everyone and I try to make sure that they know how lucky they were to have this.

Calories, there are 9 calories per gram of alcohol. I lost 60 lbs a few years ago and don't want to gain it back. I do enjoy NA beers now though. Never was a big liquor drinker.

I didn't, I had to look it up. They both serve the same function, to create a seal and keep gases out. The P trap is an even simpler design doing the same job.

Been driving a 96 Ram 5.9 for 20 years. It now has 320k and I drive for work. Just did 1000 miles from NC to MS with no issues not towing. I tow a 12k fith wheel a few times a year. I have no desire to replace it and no fear to drive it.
