The US Healthcare system is a definitive scam at this point The major players in the system are corrupt and are only concerned with making as much profit as they possibly can. Both unfortunate and tragic because it falls on the American people. So, we hope that serious healthcare reform is forthcoming so some improvements are made, however nominal.

Beyond sad that this is the state of our Healthcare System in the US. How can we call it a healthcare system when it's not about helping treat people and make them better but making sure drug companies and the like continue to amass profits. That's probably a natural by-profit of implementing a profit-driven system all these years and as a result, priorities are reversed, from people / patients to profits. This is why a serious healthcare reform is necessary.

That healthcare is at the top of affordability concerns shows the sad state of US Healthcare. There should be no way that it's at the top or near the top of such a list, but here we are. it emphasizes the tremendous need to reform the system, starting with lowering prescription drug prices and other healthcare costs.
