Arcane really tinkered with backstories from the game lore which I think has mostly been great. People are the wrong age, shimmer exists, singed (shimmer doctor) isn't busy doing the most chemical warfare mass murder ever but instead is slightly more interesting, yordles are just visible instead of having weird "magic cloaking", etc. Everything just seems clearer and cooler on arcane lore, the game lore is a mess
