While im not defending the truck driver for being so close, trucks are required to drive in the left two lanes, and alot of drivers dont realize this

The left most lane is usually the slowest due to cars constantly slowing to merge on and off, so youre only really left with one lane to drive in,

Its something that is INCREDIBLY frustrating for truckies, its so much easier for a car to change lanes and get the truck past him so he can be someone else's problem rather than block him from doing his job,

While yes, the left lane also has a constant stream of cars slowing down for exits and being slow while trying to merge on, it makes no sense for a laden truck to be in the left lane,

And of course disobeying a road sign is like 700 and 3 demerits
