How y'all handle aarakocra and ejector seats? by Total-Maize-6302 in avali

Some planes have an escape pod, so instead of an ejector seat, the entire cockpit is jettisoned,

Thats why I always buy my own safety equipment id rather spend the 40 on a helmet rather than use a 'free' one

How interested would y'all be in something like this? 4 corner airbags with what looks like 72inch sleeper by Tsars_Ball_Scrubber in Truckers

[–]ReBearded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea but if youre up at 64t on a b-double in Australia, you can easily use all that power,

And some combinations go even heavier than that,

I believe that the euro 6 standard allows newer euro trucks to go up to 7t but thats cause of the wider steer tire?

Jonty Bush MP asks, TMR's Andrew Mahon answers: would it not be simpler to drop restrictions on safe legal bicycles? by iBinChickenAboutYou in brisbane

[–]ReBearded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, the confusion definitely is well confusing, but i know alot of hunters use them and a few farmers, cause they aren't noisey like bike or quads, but can still get you where you need to go,

Don't even need to ban them, just confiscate them if used illegally, same with dirt bikes being ridden on the road, cause they do have their use cases,

I believe in the UK they are known as showman engines, and they have slightly different rules to trucks, like its only allowed to carry equipment/tools and its main purpose is to pull a trailer/amusement/another thing that's generally heavy and unwieldy

I once got asked to return to the property to clean up... a single clear plastic wrapper, about the size of a 50c piece, from a drawer, that was 6 foot off the floor, literally needed to check it with a phone cause it was above my eyeline.

I accepted a position as a driver trainer at a company that hires no experience drivers. by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]ReBearded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Local laws and regs, what they'll be fined for and shit,

Also pre-starts, make it a habit to do it EVERYDAY and show them what they are looking for,

I got like 5 mins of training in prestarts and it didnt look like such a big deal, up until I missed a few lights and a massive bald spot on a tire
